Ugh, the first great drama I've seen in a while 😩 had some skippable scenes and ML is kind of an ass in the beginning and when he finds out he's a substitute, but after that he's such an angel I started to feel sorry FL was in love with her dead boyfriend and not him. I was waiting for some twist at the end, like the boys had been switched or something and he just had memory loss since he couldn't seem to recognize the school uniform in the pic of FL with her boyfriend wasn't the same as his (my second decade since I finished high school and I remember my uniforms from since I was a kid as young as five.) But no, there was no last minute miracle. FL managed to let go and fall in love with the man in front of her. The scene of ML - imagining? Hallucinating? - her boyfriend passing on the torch to love and protect FL while he was in a coma was poignant. Loved that the FL didn't just let herself be bullied, she hit back at the sfl every single time ❤❤❤ but I swear this sfl is like a cockroach, every time it seems they have her she slips through and attempts murder on them multiple times. She drives her car into a pillar at the end so she won't go to prison, but I honestly hope she survived so she could live and suffer. Smh you even find out near the end she set the fire where she saved the ML at 5 and that fire killed his father 😮 Another thing I love is how ML grew to respect FL's ex. Though he hated being seen as a substitute at first, he got to learn about their past while pretending to be him, and helped get revenge for them (for FL it's against her school bullied, for the ex it's against his abusive parents.) Also, the FL's doctor friend was JUST a friend, I hate it when they turn them into an sml who'll just end up heartbroken. I wrote a whole essay! 😂😂😂 I don't usually write so much unless I'm ranting about what I hated in a drama, but thoigh I'm okay with watching the usual scripts as long as there's good chemistry between the chatacters, but it's nice to come across something new that is genuinely good. 100/10 drama!
