My ESC interest started after my country release as every year so i didn't listened early released non-favorites so my top 10 so far is 1. Austria, because i'm big EDM fan, this is my favourite genre and reminds me of very good 2012 when dance music blown to mainstream so hard 2. Italy, because of fantastic energy, perfect for jogging and these latino vibe move my hips over my own control! 3. Israel - i don't use it as a political thing. I have Asperger syndrome and i'm gay person in (finally less but still) homophobic country, i identify literally every word in this song with my mental health problems. Nothing more to say, but very emotional. 4. Netherlands - big positive energy to Europe. So sorry for your parents, Joost. 5. Georgia - PURE SHAKIRA VIBES! Hips moving harder than ever. Another latino vibe, probably will go higher! 6. Norway, because i visited Scandinavia in February when i discovered this, so this song is like souvenir i'll remember for long time ❤️ 7. Spain - Extra queer vibe and full energy in her age is really impressive 8. Ukraine, because i love their slavic bops! Sorry for last year. 9. Greece, another regional dance tune, i don't know what this song about but this is super catchy 😅 10. Azerbaijan, Armenia or Moldova - both have the Eastern music influences and them both takes me to other world ❤️ Sorry for the rock songs, it's not my taste, but good luck for everyone! This year every country did amazing job while picking up their songs(except Iceland where go tiffany should be winner and boring song from Australia). This time there is no single winner atleast 12-13 songs really wanted to win. This time both semis are bloodbath. Let see what happens
My Eurovision 2024 Top 37: 1- Ukraine 🇺🇦 (8.7) This song is special because it reminds me of ODESZA (my favorite artists) It has everything: good vocals, diversity of style, beautiful atmosphere, meaningful message, very good production. 2- Norway 🇳🇴 (8.4) I don't usually listen to rock music, but this song hypnotized me from the beginning. I totally live for this unique music. 3- Croatia 🇭🇷 (8.1) This genre is not my cup of tea but this one is crazy! I love the contrast between the energetic mood of the song and the very sad and melancholic lyrics. Also I love the techno twist at the end. 4- Ireland 🇮🇪 (7.9) I love strange and artistic songs, especially if they are experimental like this. Electronic, theatrical, pop, dark... all these things are on point, it's the most unique song of this year and it will be a moment for sure. 5- Switzerland 🇨🇭 (7.8) Drum&bass, opera, pop and rap?? Ok, that's interesting. I like the progression of the song. I'm so worried about the live performance because it's very difficult to deliver through the stage. Let's see. 6- Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 (7.7) Very chill and mesmerizing song that grabbed me from the first listen. Love the strings and the ethnic voices in the background. I expected more during the song, but it's still a good entry for me. 7- Lithuania 🇱🇹 (7.6) This song is a vibe. It's danceable, but atmospheric. It's fun, but hypnotic. Very good song that stands out. 8- Serbia 🇷🇸 (7.5) We needed a lighter, calmer, more atmospheric, moodier song. It's not a classic ballad, it has something different, a refined and delicate melody. Great meaning, visual, and production. Despite it's not my type of music, I really appreciate it. 9- Greece 🇬🇷 (7.4) It's so experimental, but in a traditional way. I love this kind of art, because this thing is not only a song, is pure art. Unfortunately, I hate reggaeton music because it's the most repetitive thing in the world of music. Despite that, it's still a good song, and I appreciate it. 10- Slovenia 🇸🇮 (7.3) I like the progression of the song and the atmosphere that it creates. It's epic and quite memorable. 11- Italy 🇮🇹 (7.2) I'm Italian and I usually don't like Italian music because our music scene is far, far away from what I listen to. This song, however, has something more. I like the authenticity and its neapolitan/latin/Balkan/gypsy vibe, so it's a good song, but being far from my tastes, I don't feel like giving it more points. 12- Armenia 🇦🇲 (7.1) Love the ethnic vibes and the joy that this song expresses... it's very unique. The full package is good but it's too repetitive. 13- Sweden 🇸🇪 (7.0) This song is the typical swedish song, but I have to say that, compared to usual, this entry is not repetitive in its parts because the chorus evolves, so there's some efforts. The final part builds something that would have exploded, but instead, it ends and leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, but the performance is incredible. 14- Austria 🇦🇹 (6.9) It's a funny and joyful song, a little bit dated but still good and pleasant to listen to. My only concern is that it's too repetitive. 15- Portugal 🇵🇹 (6.85) This song is so authentic, as always when we talk about portuguese music. I quite like it because of its music composition that it's very well done. 16- Belgium 🇧🇪 (6.8) Decent song. I like the atmosphere and the choirs, but I think it takes too long to get to the point. It does not have a balanced evolution. 17- Estonia 🇪🇪 (6.7) It's funny and oringinal. Love the traditional instrument, the originality and the iconic dance. I'm just a little dubious about the live performance which is too chaotic. 18- Moldova 🇲🇩 (6.6) Good drums, good ethnic elements, good melody but it misses something in the chorus imho (especially in the last one) I feel that it's empty. 19- Denmark 🇩🇰 (6.55) It's a safe, repetitive and generic song. I'm struggling with the chorus because it isn't so strong like the verses. 20- Poland 🇵🇱 (6.5) Radio-Friendly song, nothing extraordinary but not bad. 21- Georgia 🇬🇪 (6.4) The classic bop with a lot of impact but nothing extraordinary and unique. I can't remember the melody, even if I listened to it many times. 22- Australia 🇦🇺 (6.3) I'm a bit disappointed by them because I know their music style that mixes aboriginal with electronic music. I aspected something moodier by them, but it's a generic pop dance song. 23- Cyprus 🇨🇾 (6.2) It's one of those songs that seem to me to be the repetition of things I've already heard before a thousand times. It's just ok. 24- Luxembourg 🇱🇺 (6.1) For me, it's nothing unique, too basic. 25- UK 🇬🇧 (6.0) It's very repetitive and boring in my opinion. It doesn't really catch my attention and disappears among all the other upbeat songs this year. 26- Germany 🇩🇪 (5.9) Nothing special, basic song... It's not something that reaches my attention, and I think it will be a last place contender (again) 27- San Marino 🇸🇲 (5.8) I don't like this type of music but I have to say that there's some elements that differ from the classic rock songs. I only like the dubstep switch with that spanish guitar that makes the song more unique. 28- Latvia 🇱🇻 (5.7) It has nothing unique and memorable, just a song that passes away, and that doesn't attract me. 29- Israel 🇮🇱 (5.6) I don't want to talk about politics because I follow ESC because of MUSIC, not anything else... music is my passion and I don't like this drama around it... So: It's mediocre and boring like Latvia and Germany, and it's a song that does not stand out in any way. I'm not interested in listening to it, sorry. 30- Czechia 🇨🇿 (5.5) I don't know what to say about it because I always forget about it's existance; this means that it is a song that I don't care about... sorry. 31- France 🇨🇵 (5.4) It's a classic ballad, same as millions of other songs... nothing special for me. He has a very good and strong voice but in certain parts I find it too loud and exaggerated. For my tastes it's a big MEH. 32- Malta 🇲🇹 (5.3) Generic pop song... I can't connect with it in any possible way. 33- Albania 🇦🇱 (5.2) Extremely forgettable. Nothing special and boring, sorry. 34- Iceland 🇮🇸 (5.1) Sooooo generic and repetitive. Nothing else to say. 35- Finland 🇫🇮 (5.0) One word: Cringe They want to be funny, but I don't laugh while watching or listening to it. Too childish for my taste. 36- Spain 🇪🇸 (4.8) It's vocally poor and musically dated for my taste of music, despite it having a strong and good message... but the message, alone, doesn't save this song from being poor because it misses the rest of the package. 37- The Netherlands 🇳🇱 (4.0) I have to be honest, this song is unique, but imho it's garbage... I'm so sorry. I like happy hard-core but I don't like this joke vibes. I know that it has a deep message about his father but it's not enough. The message comes later, when you are interested in what the artist wants to communicate because you like the song first. There's no way I have to like a song just for the message, it has to be the whole package, and this is not the case.
Belgium is the winner this year For me it screams so much Winner that's so obvious I'm waiting the performance but I'm sure he will serve winner vibes 🇪🇦❤️🇧🇪
I would be so happy if he won! The song is amazing, he is very charismatic and seems like a great performer. I'm hoping for some powerful staging and amazing vocals, then his chances of winning will be enormous.

First of all: my dear lord Samuel the new intro with all the winner moments is so beautiful (a little less estonia at 35th place) Anyway with the all song i think it’s time to say if this year is in overall good or not: and personally i think is one of the best year of this decade This year we have not a clear winner because there are 4 or 5 countries that can win the contest but in overall there are many good song, some country has returning with their linguage or cultural elements in their songs and i’m happy with this

I really don't get the hype arround Greece this year. I like the song don't get me wrong. But it's not enough to put it on my playlist. And then i see it 1st in your rankings, 7th in the odds, and im like wtf how? I really don't think odds makers have them right. I just don't see a way in which greece finishes in the top 10 come May. If Stefania barely got top 10 with a very high quality song (although be it in a much stronger year), this song, i just can't see it. Norway, Sweden and Austria are all lower in the odds right now. Not a chance imo that Greece finishes above those 3 right? I haven't made my top 37 yet, but if i were to do it, i think i would put Greece in about 25th-21st position. Like i said it, i like it, just not to extend as other people like it.
Maybe you need to hear the song more times , it is such a dynamic song with so many things combined and embraces Greek culture too . I also think the staging would be amesome and Greece will definitely finish in the top five!
@@ioannalag.6555 yeah, i think so to. I've only listened to it twice. Plus a few more times in compilations like this. I'm actually doing my top 37 right now. So I'll get to it in a beat. It just simply wasn't a song that when I first listened to it, made me immediately want to listen to it again. Unlike Norway, where I think I've already listened to it more than 50 times. I've started to listen to all of the songs for the first time just this Monday, so this is only my 5th day of the Eurovision season.
I think you have to see the song as a whole, not just the reggeton refrain. Combining different genres, including ethnic and traditional rythms, sung in a country's language and touching all the tone spectrum, while also delivering a message. Greece is def top 5 this year imo.
Azerbaijan took a step forward this year but it's not enough. This entry feels subdued like it never takes off. The ethnic flourishes are window dressings that are there to distract from the songs weak melody and you just know Eurovision fans will get dazzled by it and eat it up. I'm disappointed in all the Caucasus countries this year. Such a strong year ending on a whimper.

My ESC interest started after my country release as every year so i didn't listened early released non-favorites so my top 10 so far is
1. Austria, because i'm big EDM fan, this is my favourite genre and reminds me of very good 2012 when dance music blown to mainstream so hard
2. Italy, because of fantastic energy, perfect for jogging and these latino vibe move my hips over my own control!
3. Israel - i don't use it as a political thing. I have Asperger syndrome and i'm gay person in (finally less but still) homophobic country, i identify literally every word in this song with my mental health problems. Nothing more to say, but very emotional.
4. Netherlands - big positive energy to Europe. So sorry for your parents, Joost.
5. Georgia - PURE SHAKIRA VIBES! Hips moving harder than ever. Another latino vibe, probably will go higher!
6. Norway, because i visited Scandinavia in February when i discovered this, so this song is like souvenir i'll remember for long time ❤️
7. Spain - Extra queer vibe and full energy in her age is really impressive
8. Ukraine, because i love their slavic bops! Sorry for last year.
9. Greece, another regional dance tune, i don't know what this song about but this is super catchy 😅
10. Azerbaijan, Armenia or Moldova - both have the Eastern music influences and them both takes me to other world ❤️

My Eurovision 2024 Top 37:
1- Ukraine 🇺🇦 (8.7)
This song is special because it reminds me of ODESZA (my favorite artists)
It has everything: good vocals, diversity of style, beautiful atmosphere, meaningful message, very good production.
2- Norway 🇳🇴 (8.4)
I don't usually listen to rock music, but this song hypnotized me from the beginning.
I totally live for this unique music.
3- Croatia 🇭🇷 (8.1)
This genre is not my cup of tea but this one is crazy!
I love the contrast between the energetic mood of the song and the very sad and melancholic lyrics.
Also I love the techno twist at the end.
4- Ireland 🇮🇪 (7.9)
I love strange and artistic songs, especially if they are experimental like this.
Electronic, theatrical, pop, dark... all these things are on point, it's the most unique song of this year and it will be a moment for sure.
5- Switzerland 🇨🇭 (7.8)
Drum&bass, opera, pop and rap?? Ok, that's interesting.
I like the progression of the song.
I'm so worried about the live performance because it's very difficult to deliver through the stage.

Very chill and mesmerizing song that grabbed me from the first listen.
Love the strings and the ethnic voices in the background.
I expected more during the song, but it's still a good entry for me.

It's danceable, but atmospheric.
It's fun, but hypnotic.
Very good song that stands out.

We needed a lighter, calmer, more atmospheric, moodier song.
It's not a classic ballad, it has something different, a refined and delicate melody.
Great meaning, visual, and production.
Despite it's not my type of music, I really appreciate it.

It's so experimental, but in a traditional way.
I love this kind of art, because this thing is not only a song, is pure art.
Unfortunately, I hate reggaeton music because it's the most repetitive thing in the world of music.
Despite that, it's still a good song, and I appreciate it.
10- Slovenia 🇸🇮 (7.3)
I like the progression of the song and the atmosphere that it creates. It's epic and quite memorable.
11- Italy 🇮🇹 (7.2)
I'm Italian and I usually don't like Italian music because our music scene is far, far away from what I listen to.
This song, however, has something more.
I like the authenticity and its neapolitan/latin/Balkan/gypsy vibe, so it's a good song, but being far from my tastes, I don't feel like giving it more points.
12- Armenia 🇦🇲 (7.1)
Love the ethnic vibes and the joy that this song expresses... it's very unique.
The full package is good but it's too repetitive.
13- Sweden 🇸🇪 (7.0)
This song is the typical swedish song, but I have to say that, compared to usual, this entry is not repetitive in its parts because the chorus evolves, so there's some efforts.
The final part builds something that would have exploded, but instead, it ends and leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, but the performance is incredible.
14- Austria 🇦🇹 (6.9)
It's a funny and joyful song, a little bit dated but still good and pleasant to listen to.
My only concern is that it's too repetitive.
15- Portugal 🇵🇹 (6.85)
This song is so authentic, as always when we talk about portuguese music.
I quite like it because of its music composition that it's very well done.
16- Belgium 🇧🇪 (6.8)
Decent song.
I like the atmosphere and the choirs, but I think it takes too long to get to the point.
It does not have a balanced evolution.
17- Estonia 🇪🇪 (6.7)
It's funny and oringinal.
Love the traditional instrument, the originality and the iconic dance.
I'm just a little dubious about the live performance which is too chaotic.

Good drums, good ethnic elements, good melody but it misses something in the chorus imho (especially in the last one)
I feel that it's empty.

It's a safe, repetitive and generic song.
I'm struggling with the chorus because it isn't so strong like the verses.

Radio-Friendly song, nothing extraordinary but not bad.

The classic bop with a lot of impact but nothing extraordinary and unique.
I can't remember the melody, even if I listened to it many times.

I'm a bit disappointed by them because I know their music style that mixes aboriginal with electronic music.
I aspected something moodier by them, but it's a generic pop dance song.

I don't like this type of music but I have to say that there's some elements that differ from the classic rock songs.

It has nothing unique and memorable, just a song that passes away, and that doesn't attract me.

I don't want to talk about politics because I follow ESC because of MUSIC, not anything else... music is my passion and I don't like this drama around it... So:

I know that it has a deep message about his father but it's not enough.
The message comes later, when you are interested in what the artist wants to communicate because you like the song first.
There's no way I have to like a song just for the message, it has to be the whole package, and this is not the case.

I really don't get the hype arround Greece this year. I like the song don't get me wrong. But it's not enough to put it on my playlist. And then i see it 1st in your rankings, 7th in the odds, and im like wtf how? I really don't think odds makers have them right. I just don't see a way in which greece finishes in the top 10 come May. If Stefania barely got top 10 with a very high quality song (although be it in a much stronger year), this song, i just can't see it. Norway, Sweden and Austria are all lower in the odds right now. Not a chance imo that Greece finishes above those 3 right? I haven't made my top 37 yet, but if i were to do it, i think i would put Greece in about 25th-21st position. Like i said it, i like it, just not to extend as other people like it.
Maybe you need to hear the song more times , it is such a dynamic song with so many things combined and embraces Greek culture too . I also think the staging would be amesome and Greece will definitely finish in the top five!
@@ioannalag.6555 yeah, i think so to. I've only listened to it twice. Plus a few more times in compilations like this. I'm actually doing my top 37 right now. So I'll get to it in a beat. It just simply wasn't a song that when I first listened to it, made me immediately want to listen to it again. Unlike Norway, where I think I've already listened to it more than 50 times. I've started to listen to all of the songs for the first time just this Monday, so this is only my 5th day of the Eurovision season.

I think you have to see the song as a whole, not just the reggeton refrain. Combining different genres, including ethnic and traditional rythms, sung in a country's language and touching all the tone spectrum, while also delivering a message. Greece is def top 5 this year imo.
Azerbaijan took a step forward this year but it's not enough. This entry feels subdued like it never takes off. The ethnic flourishes are window dressings that are there to distract from the songs weak melody and you just know Eurovision fans will get dazzled by it and eat it up.
I'm disappointed in all the Caucasus countries this year. Such a strong year ending on a whimper.
