Beerus (ビルス Birusu) is the God of Destruction of Universe 7. He is accompanied by his martial arts teacher and attendant, Whis. Beerus' twin brother is Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6.
Beerus is the main antagonist of the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film and the God of Destruction Beerus Saga but becomes a supporting character in later sagas.

The fact he beat some of the strongest fighters on earth with chopsticks shows his power more then anything else in my opinion. Its similar to how Goku stopped trunks sword (right after cutting freeze to ribbons) with 1 finger. A very good "your nowhere near my level" move.

Idk why but the title "God of Destruction" always sounded incredibly badass and intimidating to me, and you definitely captured its weight in this song... within his domain, he is the absolute power, the final authority on who gets to live under his stars and who doesn't, even erasing other gods from existence if they step out of line... the true embodiment of divine judgement.
Imagine this is the reason why he sleeps for so long time playing this amazing song all over the top to bottom.

THIS IS GODLY! HEAVENLY! DIVINE! LITERALLY DESTROYED ME! I am obsessed. I've always loved Beerus and this song just amped up my feelings even more.
I still love how Beerus styles on everyone on Earth. You have Majin Buu, the strongest thing the Z-Fighters have beaten at that point, (granted only his weakest form of Fat Buu) and he got flicked away like a fucking loser. Broke Goku, Vegeta, and everyone he’s fought. Super kinda downplayed him from the hype we felt when he appeared for the first time. Still.
Not really. We just meet his boss lol. Beerus even in the manga, after Goku has mastered ultra instinct, is still made abundantly clear to be stronger then any of the Z fighters by a pretty major margin. Beerus is by far the strongest G.O.D we’ve seen thus far, and god of destruction level power just in general is still way out of most of there reach.
@@hazardous8301 Gods of Destruction are pretty powerful, and even in terms of those Gods, Beerus is probably among the strongest, even if he commands a weaker universe. But, after we saw what he could do with a fraction of his power in Battle of Gods, I for one was hyped to see what else he could do. But, since his introductory fight against the Z-Fighters, Beerus hasn’t fought anyone. He’s relegated to a viewer. And anytime he is actually ‘called into action’, something else says no; be it Whis or even the Grand Priest. What I want is an enemy who threatens the universe, whom Goku and Vegeta do everything they can to beat, including Fusion, and keep losing; sort of like Fused Zamasu. But, instead of Goku calling Zeno, Beerus steps in because destruction is his job. So, he fights the threat for one of these simple reasons; A, he wants the universe to stay because he won’t get to have earth food anymore. Or B, he’d be a laughingstock among the other G.O.D’s for allowing his universe to be destroyed. Both of those reasons fall into Beerus’ character.
