- We were hit by a typhoon on our trip to Nagano.
While changing our plans, we took a stroll in the morning and then evacuated to a place to sleep before the typhoon approached.
To make it a fun dinner because of such a time, I decided to play sushi restaurant.
Yuri ate more than usual.
The rain and wind were getting heavier and heavier.
We spent an anxious night, scared of the typhoon.

We are a family of three: husband (Shin), wife (Ayako), and daughter (Yuri), both around 40 years old and our only daughter.
We bought the campervan of our dreams, the Corde Leaves, so that our daughter could have a variety of experiences!
We will enjoy our hobby of outdoor activities, such as camping, staying in the car, mountain climbing, and fishing, while traveling all over Japan.
In addition, we would like to share with you how we made the campervan more comfortable by DIY and our daily life using the camper.

旅に天候は選べませんから これも旅の醍醐味と観念するしかありませんね。キャブコンは風が強いと揺れますから 熟睡出来ない人もいるかもしれませんね。
私のは油圧ジャッキで揺れませんが オーニングがバタバタとうるさいです。
駐車場所が 建物の間なので 風も強くなくて良かった。
そうですね！天候はどうにもならないですから、いかに楽しむかですね😊
安全な場所を確保出来れば台風でも問題なく過ごせる事が分かりました☺️
いつも料理が美味しそうですね！
我が家は同じものを食べ続ける習性があるみたいで最近まで田楽にはまり、寒くなってからはラクレットが続いています。
ホットプレート端のアルミ皿の中で溶けたチーズを眺めながらの晩酌も良いですよ。

I know you said it was your first time spending a Typhoon in your camper van, but what was it like as in the United Kingdom we very rarely get Typhoon's like you guys do, we have high winds, but not Typhoon's. Thank you for a great video on your trip.

So happy that you didn't suffer from the typhon. Bet it was a little scary with the heavy rains and the campervan shaking a little. I have the same training chop sticks that Yuri has, mine is in pink. This is a challenge that I have set for myself. I love sushi but only with veggies inside. No raw seafood of any kind. Due to my health problems. Then I was shown how to mix the wasabi with the soy sauce to cut down on the heat. And I love the pickled ginger. It is nice to know that kids playing cops and robbers is international. Stay safe.

車内で台風に遭うのは初めての経験だったので、どのくらい揺れるのか、何か物が飛んでこないか…と不安はありましたが、駐車場のオーナーさんのお陰で安全は確保出来ていたので良かったです😅
