Every LMS has it's own database like MySQL etc. The DB has it's own structure but the developers can modify as per their requirements

No you don't. For a single or few videos, you can link payment gateway and manage it on your site. But if you are planning a full fledged online course, then LMS will save time and money. Also thanks for the appreciation.
