@@TabiOwusu Meh, They are all pretty strong players. Sometimes you win or loose based off the "reads of the day". I play with some friends and we know all the tech. But winning or loosing match to match is just your reads in that set. XD It is fun. I dont like playing people who lack the tech.
heres a tip for liu kang players from a baraka main you can punish barakas forward with your 6 frame stand and i believe liu kang is the only character that can punish f3
Few weeks ago I got beaten by a Baraka player while I was using Takeda. After the match he messaged me saying: Ez! I was going to reply trying to explain why he beat me so easily. But then I thought 🤔 He's a baraka player. His brain is dead. Poor guy... 😢
It’s crazy how everytime I pick up a new fighting game I always end up picking like a bottom 5 character and stick with them but as soon as I picked ashrah as my main in this game because I liked the way she plays I’m the bad guy lol. I can’t even count the amount of times I win a match and dude gets on the mic and says I’m carried like bro I just thought she was cool chill out 😭
I feel you man. I was A Frost Main in 11 and it was rought out there vs the blessed characters like Fujin and Air Gas Kabal. MK 1 I liked Ashrah and people complain XD
I main Baraka, and he is probably the most braindead if not top 5 most braindead character in the game, especially paired with Kano, but lets not get it twisted, this game is braindead pressure the video game. All characters have braindead pressure if you pair them with a Kameo that helps with their pressure. Baraka just has a limited number of strings, that just so happen to all be good and mostly safe, so its way easier to apply that pressure than most, so ur point still stands for sure.
As a baraka player, baraka is probably the most brainless character in the game. Maybe behind johnny. But definitely doesnt take much thought compared to other characters.
So i wasnt tripping cause everytime i play against Baraka feels like i press anything i fuckin die, take hella chip, and block FOREVER, and armor feels irrelevant. And THAT MOVE still looks STUPID. HIS KNEE IS ABOVE HIS HIP HOW IS THAT A LOW
Even tho baraka is brain dead I wouldn’t recommend new players from picking him up. You gotta learn frames and spacing and how to actually play. You also gotta learn the full extent and values of strings but he mashes so you won’t learn difference cuz it’s all mix
Listen NRS games are for scrubs , do player who play mk play other games that aren’t considered scrubby ? Yes but some players just play the game because it’s easy and fighting games take a lot of brain power (most characters) especially finding tech so we and others play mk cause you don’t have to sweat so hard against randoms, the skill gap in other games compared to mk is laughable. I say all this to say, who cares if someone thinks a character is scrubby have fun but the idea of this video to let you what is “considered” carried in fighting game terms
“Characters” we can say that nowadays fighting games are main focus so they become easier so more people buy and play not just for online experience but just to spend money. Overall we can say that other fighting games are more difficult and challenging. Tekken, SF, DOA Skullgirls , GG, but again those who come from the older version will say that the newer ones are trash and for scrubs. Regardless NRS is considered a party game and not even taken serious. I’ve talked to plenty pro players in other scenes and they don’t respect us or yall
Honestly if Baraka was ever not braindead I feel like it would be a failure of character design. Man should always be the unga-bunga character on the roster IMO.

Typically characters are able to play unga because they have low risk, they can beat you with their caveman clubs because they know you often have to respect it.

You can’t down poke into full combo with Shao. His second hit can always be blocked even if the down poke lands. Every character is not awarded the luxury of a down poke combo starter
When she lands her down 1 she can instantly stand 1 jab into a full combo. Every Milenna I’ve faced does this constantly. Down poke into full combo is her go to. Do you not know this?

All this because my channel is about fighting game terms and understanding them, funny cause I know how to beat baraka and never once thought of tweedy, talking with other high level players about terms scrubs over use and this one came up and what character correlate with the term. I literally play kombat league to try stuff out. I play other games at the highest level idc about mk or NRS and people like you the main reason mk is a dying breed that nobody wants to play

Flawless blocking doesn't always eliminate plus frames. You have to take the time to learn the block adv for both scenarios.

Mk encourage scrub play, so most plays who play this game are casuals who cry about everything. Just ignore it and realize you getting better
