The first time I watched this video I wasn't sure if I liked it. Watched it a couple more times and I changed my mind. I checked the Etta James videos and there is a live performance with Etta putting much more fry in her vocals that are not in the others that I saw. This version of Angelina's is spot on. This young woman is so talented and I bless the day I "discovered" her "I Put A Spell On You" video. My life actually changed that day.

She was just 12 here. She got that magic microphone as a birthday (January 10) gift. At the time she didn't know that she sang into the back of it! I am told that had she used it correctly, the presence would have been much improved. It takes a few listens to that cover to start to appreciate what she has done here- amazing old boozy lady...
