I have never seen anyone cut glass as well as you do. You are so fast and do it effortlessly on even the most complicated patterns. Great work and thanks again for sharing.
Hi Sophie. Thanks for this video which shows in a very concise way how leading is done. Really like how you dealt with the point of the heart where all the lead pieces are joined. Nice camera work and voice instructions. Always amazed at how fast you work.
Do your lead cutters cut straight on both sides? I've been using flush cutters and they cut flat on one side but crimp the other side. Its a waste of lead to reverse the flat side and then cut the crimped side off. Thanks 😁🖐🏻
Sorry - when buying no options are given re the % lead so I just buy it. In other word, no idea! You could try looking at the Heaps Arnold website for more info.
Hi Sophie. Another great how too video. love your lead cutters/shears. . What ones do you recommend? I have a lead knife which is hard on the hands after a while. Many thanks. James.
Yes, lead knives are quite fatiguing. I get asked about my shears quite a lot but the only thing I can say is that I get them from Reading stained glass. You can get something similar if you search 'gasket shears'.

WoW! Fantastic work! You definitely need a lot of patience to do stained glass!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for sharing! You make it look so easy. I need to try my hand at this one. I like these smaller projects. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! 😊
I really like the look of panels in wooden picture frames, so simple but it looks really sleak!
Yes, I agree! And if you stick to regulars sizes, not expensive.
This is the lesson I've been waiting for. I've done one already but this will clarify techniques better. Thank you sophie! 😁👌🏻
You're so welcome!
