Thank you for this video! I always wondered how you guys did repairs! I’m looking for a video on how to clean 2 very dirty stain glass windows. They are old. What can I use to scrub around the edges of the glass to lead? Is Dish soap okay? Is it safe to wet down the whole window? Does it harm anything by putting water all over the glass and lead? If so, on average how long would I have to wait to be able to hang it up when dry? Thank you!

That's beautiful! I'm just a bit worried about the eco impact of all that duct tape. Wondering if it would be possible to lay the tiles on a non slip surface, spread thicker grout on the backing board, press it into the tiles, then turn it over to finish the grout from the front when it's dry? Thanks for the inspiration

Oh man, it really stood out when she said, "maybe I'm just not good at it". I'm just now realizing that it's rare to hear a human saying that anymore on these types of videos. It's drenched in a caveman's finality ("THEIR WAY BAD! MINE GOOD!") more often than not. Little things like that really matter when it comes to teaching. I appreciate it so much. Liked and subbed!

I wondered when you're we're going to cut your finger with the Stanley knife or the lead knife or with the glass when you've cleaned the glass or pushed the sealant onto place. The end result is nice but it's a really wonky job. You gave to be more careful and confident with these kind of tools and glass.

I just want to be clear that some of your glass wasn’t ground down? I have lots of off cuts that I would like to use in a mosaic piece and was wondering if I need to grind them all! Thank you

That'd a tool we use in unsoldering electrical connections. We also use a sacrificial copper braid.

Just come across your channel and love your videos. I'm very new to stained glass making, about 2 months. I have a lead nipper (or lead dyke) and the shop I ordered from was out of lead knife at the time I ordered my kit. How do these 2 lead cutting tools compare? I'm making some suncatchers and small panels using both copper foil and lead came methods. Do you think it's worth it for me to also get a lead knife?

do you need a seperate pallete for the paint with glycol? or use the same? thanks
