I LOVE Jessica Chastain; I admire her a lot for at least trying to pave the way for more female leads being the norm, especially for women of color (like Viola Davis). Sometimes takes a white person to drive that change initially. I want to be a successful actress, too, and watching her career take off in the past few years and her playing in such great films is inspiring and gets me excited. I'm really happy for her!

Jessica Chastain is without a doubt, the greatest actress in the world today. Everything she does, as long as she's in the lead, is a home run. The Debt, Mama, Zero Dark Thirty, Miss Sloane, The Zookeeper's Wife and Molly's Game. That's one hell of a perfect track record.

Lauren, you need to study acting. Don't take it for granted that you're a natural. No one is. You're beautiful, and that gives you an edge, but your acting needs work. I hope you take this constructively and do the necessary work.

Because EVERY single film prior was ALL about men. Every political story, historical narrative, financial newsbyte, etc. THAT is why and, frankly, it still isn’t anywhere near the only thing talked about. (Nor does ANYone even remotely want that.) Your oversensitivity to it tells us all that YOU are one of those privileged white males who are terrified of losing what you should have never had so exclusively. Wake up, grow up, and show up as a real live human person with enough capacity for contemplation that you actually have a clue how we got here. My son is not yet 30, he is a white male with some definite privilege. I taught hum none of this nut he is smart, gives a rip about others, and he was able to figure it out before he entered high school.
