The neighbors must be happy with the improvement of that awful former eyesore! I can’t wait to see the main door installed and interior complete! My favorite part so far has been the patio!
Getting that front door going in is going to a big job & it will completely transform the appearance of the facade. Looking very forward to seeing it in place.😊😊
The house looks great. I’m happy to see work being done on it again and that the inspector appreciated and complimented Edd’s work. It’s so nice seeing how bright the house is. What a difference from the scary house it was when you bought it. ❤
I am amazed by this build, I can usually see the potential in old buildings and visualize the possibilities but this one had me stumped. Your vision and follow through is fabulous! You are also fortunate to have such a smart and beautiful supervisor to keep you in line. Hahhaha
In my area of the US, what you plug into we call an outlet, and a socket is what you screw a light bulb into. But then we refer to a sliding glass or Arcadia door as a doorwall. Ultimately I don't think it matters. Everyone but a rare few know what you are talking about and can follow the vlog. Keep on keeping on. We're all still watching.
My goodness the sheer number of tasks to fully renovate a place is overwhelming! 😧 Even for an Energizer Bunny! 🐰 🔋 The transformation of the place is just amazing, and - as much work as that tiling has been - it is stunning. And I like the idea for the second bathroom too! 🤩
The prior owners of your home here would be shocked to see the wonderful work you have been doing and the vast change that has occured since you began. There are always a million things to do as a construction project nears its end. The great thing is when they are done they stay done! Soon you will be at the end just push through and finish well! We have enjoyed your project! Best, Brian
I think back on the first walk through of this property and the difference is shocking! And just wait until the showstopper front door is installed! You two are working a miracle! 😊
Wow Edd your attention to detail is second to none It’s the smaller jobs that are so time consuming and at times frustrating but we all know that you will get there without compromising the integrity of the building I can’t compliment you enough Thank goodness you have the wonderful support of your wife ❤
Great job, Edd. I like your thinking and plans that your supervisor approves of. That herring bone tiling would do me in! I like the lateral style for the next tiling. Yes, do the bathroom next. That will help inspire you more as you do room by room. Anna, great filming and commenting. Careful walking sometimes while filming. Don't get hurt.❤
Edd, electrifying video 😂❤❤ We re-did the wiring in our 1920's house. That's actually pretty old by Western Canada standards. We made sure every wire going into to the box was straight and carefully labelled. The city inspector looked at the box and tested a few plugs etc and said he'd never seen such a tidy wiring job! We passed with flying colours!😊
You are, or have become, a very good allround builder, nothing is too much, too hard or too complicated for you, when I see how many different tasks you tackle I am impressed. I also enjoy the uncomplicated explanation of what you are doing and why! Keep up the good work and success. When a private contractor says you have done well then you know you’re on the right track!
I just can’t wait to see it finished Anna has such a fantastic eye for decor how lucky you are to have a husband who can turn his hand to anything and a complete perfectionist
Here’s a tip from an electrician: Grab the bundle of wire you plan to cut, and use the width of your closed fist as a guide. Cutting at that point usually leaves just the right amount of wire inside the box for easy connections and adjustments. 😊😊😊😊
Great job Ed especially on that tile. Right about the job, but once the job is done, it does look good. I agree the tile would be very nice. Going the opposite direct would look lovely and modern.
Ed and Anna nice to see both of you chatting happy couple yes very safe to work setting this electrical work I to see has the house has improved so much this summer lots of challengers but you always get them finish Ed quite a project well done courage and see you both has been many years since I follow cheers bye
With tiling the Master shower, how about putting in a nice accent strip with the left over tile from the smaller bath. I think it would brighten it up and show some cohesiveness.
Great job Ed especially on that tile. Right about the job, but once the job is done, it does look good. I agree the tile would be very nice. Going the opposite direct would look lovely and modern. Thank you
You're cracking on in fine style Phil. I like your idea of installing the tiles in the smaller bathroom in an up and down design as opposed to the chevron design in the bigger bathroom.....good plan. I have to say, I can't see anything wrong with the sound etc., at my end of things.
I had a similar sized tile installed in our bathroom recently and they are staggered and oriented like you propose for the second bath room. I think it looks good.
Hi Ed & Anna, I have a few question’s for you, will you be putting a banister on the staircase ? When do you think this project will be completed , and what will you be doing when you are finished ? We haven’t seen your beautiful children in a while maybe when they’re off from school you can bring them to the project !
The bloody work never ends - even when you retire!! Ask me, I know!! It keeps us going & alive though!! 😃 You can't repeat, on the internet, what Anna calls you - "Bunny" ? AWE, that's so very SWEET❣️ But, I agree, you, Edd, are like that bunny in the durecell battery ad - you just keep right on going, no matter what!! Which means, you are VERY SPECIAL❣️🥰
Looking good👍 It has always fascinated me that English people (and remember they invented the language) call timber, wood - the ground, the floor - sockets, plugs and routers , rooters. 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you for all the videos you are giving us it must be so time consuming for both of you l expect you just want to finish the house now obviously at the high standards you both demand, bye for now best wishes from Lynda ❤❤
I love the herringbone look in the first bath, the vertical stagger look in the master bath will be good as well, Edd, I would do 1/3 overlaps vs 1/2 overlaps. I think you find even less cuts needed or waste that way. Maybe get an oval front sink so the shower space is less crowded with the corner being so far out with a standard rectangle sink given the odd angles you are working with. Does a sliding pocket door work here as well? Love the work Edd! 🎉
There it is lol, it's a way of getting away from that tiling job lol. I can only imagine how much you love the tiling job taking so much time at this stage. It will be worth it in the end, you won't remember the pain once you get past it lol. I have to poke, lol.🤬🤭❤️
Great work Edd and Anna! The house is looking really impressive after all your hard work. Btw, you can lose the mention of "plug" completely when referring to LX installation: the correct term is 'socket', or more fully 'socket outlet' (as distinguished from a spur or fused spur outlet for instance). Saying "plug-socket" seems to reflect other pairings such as 'bath taps' or 'light switch', but those cases give the key data first then home in on the detail - but the *socket* is the main thing so it sounds wrong for it to be mentioned as subsidiary to the junior partner, if you see what I mean! So if you don't want to irritate sparkies all over, I suggest you only refer to "sockets"; 'plugs' are not part of the fixed installation. 😈😂
Good tile layout for the second bathroom. Glad Denis said all was good with your roof tile work. Of course you want to get finished now. You know you have that other project waiting. Do you think this will be finished by the end of the year?
Unfortunately again a problem with the language. And not an option to select original/american or english. Strange why this problem has started?
It must be a bug in the system - we will probably turn off the dubbing before the next vlog.
@BordeauxLife thank you
How's Louis doing? Miss him on the channel. You guys had great chemistry. I hope his hat shop is doing well.
He should ask Louis to come just for few days. It's going to help him to finish that project and its going to be more motivating. :)
I have seen him on Insta as far as I can tell it's going well
The hat man is hatin!
@@clairetremblay3023 I expect Louis is very busy running his own business now.
Does Luis still have his instagram account, I haven’t seen anything for a while,
I recall the first floor being so dark and dingy, and now it is light and bright. I can’t believe the change!
Remember when Edd was telling Ana where to walk when they first went through the house because it was so “rotten” inside?
I can't wait to see the final front door!
Me too!!
Me three! 😅
Every job needs a good supervisor, great job Anna!👏 And every job needs a good ,willing worker, great job Edd!👏
The neighbors must be happy with the improvement of that awful former eyesore! I can’t wait to see the main door installed and interior complete! My favorite part so far has been the patio!
I remember the first video of this property. What hard work and a journey you have done!
It was truly awful but is amazing now.
Such an amazing change!
The green tiles for the second bathroom are a beautiful color and I think they will look fabulous laid in a vertical pattern!!!
So much has changed since those first days as a squatter house! It's an amazing job - so well done!
I love your tiling choice, the color is lovely and the tiling job is very impressive! Good job Ed, don’t give up! It’s stunning!
Ed, you are doing an amazing job. Anna is so lucky to have such a talented, skilled and knowledgeable husband. 😊
Getting that front door going in is going to a big job & it will completely transform the appearance of the facade. Looking very forward to seeing it in place.😊😊
Never a doubt that Edd's work would be approved. The two of you make a great team!
The house looks great. I’m happy to see work being done on it again and that the inspector appreciated and complimented Edd’s work. It’s so nice seeing how bright the house is. What a difference from the scary house it was when you bought it. ❤

We say also plug socket or light socket in UK
The tiling looks beautiful!
Wow, tiles is beautiful, job well done👍
My goodness the sheer number of tasks to fully renovate a place is overwhelming! 😧 Even for an Energizer Bunny! 🐰 🔋 The transformation of the place is just amazing, and - as much work as that tiling has been - it is stunning. And I like the idea for the second bathroom too! 🤩
It's nice that you're able to walk through actual rooms now.
Hi Louis!❤❤❤

Go Edd, go! It's moving quicker now and exciting to see continued progress. 👍
❤️ from TX!
Edd is never going to let it go that you bought those tiles Anna. 😂
Wow Edd your attention to detail is second to none
It’s the smaller jobs that are so time consuming and at times frustrating but we all know that you will get there without compromising the integrity of the building I can’t compliment you enough Thank goodness you have the wonderful support of your wife ❤
Ed and Anna are doing an amazing job ! I can’t wait to see when your project is finished. ❤️
What a lot of hard work. Well done.
Edd you are really efficient, you know what you're doing, who cares what we think.
The house is looking lovely, you could see the people walking past admiring it, so much has changed. ❤️
I keep tabs on this channel in hopes of seeing the front door go on i cant wait 😊
It looks like you learned a lot on the first tiled wall. The second is enormously improved! Everything is straight.
Everything is coming along very nicely, and we're being spoiled by these extra videos! 😁
This place is going to look so good!
Edd, electrifying video 😂❤❤

It will look smashing outside with that grand blue vintage door with Anna's taste flowering up window sills come le printemps! Bravo!
Wow that tile work is amazing!!
Nice to see so much progress 🎉.
Man of many talents 😊
The tiles looks amazing! ❤❤❤I love the colour and pattern even if it takes a lot of work and leftovers. It is worth it❤❤❤🎉🎉
This project has been such a journey of having a vision of possibilities that it has become absolutely amazing to watch. Great job Edd and Ana!
I just can’t wait to see it finished Anna has such a fantastic eye for decor how lucky you are to have a husband who can turn his hand to anything and a complete perfectionist
You are doing a great job all by yourself Edd. Interesting to see all that you do. Edd does tasks properly and right. All the best to you all.
Beautiful episode and work and progress! Be well, stay safe all. Thank you all. 😊❤👍
I have to say those tiles in the small bathroom look stunning, can't wait to see it all finished. Would absolutely love to have them in my bathroom ❤
Hi Edd an Anna your so clever doing all these jobs Edd it’s really coming on lv Ann🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
That style of tiling definitely elevates the space.
Well Edd, it`s moving along, that`s a lot of little jobs for one guy, keep it up buddy.
Looking Great! Well done
Can't Wait to see It Finished Edd. Looking Fabulous xx😊
I approve too! Looks nice! Thanks for showing those before pics. You’ve come a long way!
Can't wait to see the walls colors! Getting closer and closer!
😂😂😂😂😂 ‘Keep Up Anna’ 😂😂😂😂😂 ……….. bloomin’ cheek hey Anna !!!
I'm beginning to get a feel for the "finished product." It's all looking so good.
❤❤ the place is beginning to look like a home. Your hard work is really showing. Thank you so much for sharing! N❤❤❤❤

We are now out Tuesdays Thursdays and sundays!
@ brilliant xx

Nice job on the tileing 🤗👍 little by little you are nailing it 🤗👍
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
You may be cursing the diagonal tilework, but it's looking really great so far. 👏👏
Great job Ed especially on that tile. Right about the job, but once the job is done, it does look good. I agree the tile would be very nice. Going the opposite direct would look lovely and modern. Thank you

Nice job Edd as always and under Anna"s watchful eye lol😂 Loved watching . Thankyou for sharing Anna and Edd😘♥
At least you had help today, Edd, that guy named Calvin Klein! ;-)
Yes all those little tie-up jobs add up, take time & test your patience 😅😂🤣🥰great job getting the roof approved Ed🙌✨👏👏👏👏
Well done on the roof Edd! Great Video Anna. The tiles look fantastic!!
Energiser bunny , I have referred that to Ed ever since I have been watching .You both work very hard ❤
So glad to see you back Anna and Ed! From Canada
ed its looking fab. very nice job on the tiles.
It’s all coming together. Love to you both K🇬🇧❤️❤️
What a wonderful job you have done with tiling
Bunny you’re an amazing teacher
Great job Ed on the tiling. It must not be easy for the first time doing the fishbone tiling. Great job 👍
Tilling looks great Edd.
I had a similar sized tile installed in our bathroom recently and they are staggered and oriented like you propose for the second bath room. I think it looks good.
Looking good, thank you for sharing 😊
Lovely work Edd & Anna 👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️🇬🇧
Hello Anna, and "Bunny" Edd!🐰 I like how you mix things up in your renovations.
Eveready Battery Bunny does not stop. Well done keep going you just like to be busy. ❤
Hi Ed & Anna, I have a few question’s for you, will you be putting a banister on the staircase ? When do you think this project will be completed , and what will you be doing when you are finished ? A local joint box will mean less cables at the light switches 👍🏻
Good job Ed

Left for left makes sense! They made a mistake in my home and never fixed it! To this day after 15 years I still can’t get used to it!
I like your suggestion for the tile layout in the second bathroom.
Thank you for all the videos you are giving us it must be so time consuming for both of you l expect you just want to finish the house now obviously at the high standards you both demand, bye for now best wishes from Lynda ❤❤

I’ve attempted some general building work in the past but never electrics or Plumbing !!!
The bathroom will be superb & you will get there Ed. 😅
I love the tile ❤ nice choice
Greetings guys! How is the front door installation coming along? Hope you guys had a great summer! Good vibes 😊 Cheers! Thomas!
The tiling is stunning🙃

I guess "Bunny" is the G rated "Every-Ready", lol.
The energizer bunny 😊

Hopefully yes finished before the end of the year
