@@jonahnelson267 it can still function the way it does, it should just cost more then what it does. A free spammable defensive move only causes the community to adopt a passive playstyle. That on top of the Z Burst Dash nerf makes playing people a waiting simulator rather than a fighting game.
@@jjstudios28 only time I think that should happen is if I’m already blocking a string and then decide to hit circle for sonic sway. Def shouldn’t activate if you’re punching someone in the face already lol.
@@danieleduardo-nv1sp I heard someone mention that as a fix as well. Having limited perceptions like in Storm that refill over time. I wouldn’t be mad at that at all. It would make people have to learn how to rely on super counters when out of perceptions which I don’t know about since that mechanic would practically hinge on connection and servers but it would be a great move nonetheless. If we wanted it to have its own identity for sparking, then I’m all for it costing 1 ki bar each use.
Honestly with the ability to spam ki blasts and use other defensive counters I dont hate perception but im sure once I start playing comp I"ll feel the same
@@robhasdriven895 yeah bro. There’s plenty of ways to counter it. It just doesn’t make sense having a defensive mechanic that cost practically nothing to use. Plus, even in knowing how to counter it (much like wild sense), dealing with it so often just gets annoying since as it stands, doesn’t require any skill to use and helps encourage the passive play style in the higher ranks along with the Z Burst Dash nerf.
@@Vorianvallo I don’t think super perception needs a nerf since it’s costs 2 skill points to use which is an adequate cost. I think they all need a nerf, as the Tenkaichi series is known for not having crazy long combos (as the game is supposed to be a dbz experience. Combos weren’t even big in the anime/manga). Although I do agree that perception alone needs to be nerfed since it can be spammed repeatedly with no consequences. So if we made every time you hit circle for perception cost 1 ki bar, that would fix a big issue with defense and make it not as op.
@@sxscookiex wild sense is as well. That doesn’t make it any less annoying to deal with even knowing how to counter it. Perception is still a very accessible defensive option that doesn’t take much resources/require a skill gap to utilize (super perception cost 2 skill count, super counter is a 2 frame input). Balancing it would only make people have to get better at the game for real.
I like the way perception currently functions everyone can spam it. It looks cool and its very punishable. It makes the game feel unique
I feel the same way but I fucking hate when people just sonic sway me mid combo and its annoying

Ngl if the perception was like storm 3 counters we would of been having so much fun

Yeah I don’t think you should be able to auto turn every time you spam the perception button. Hope I got you to 200 bro🎉
@@justinhopkins2303 I think that’s a crazy thing that’s allowed in the game honestly. And bro, I think you are my literal 200th sub gang!!!
Super perception is a problem, defensive mechanics in this game all need a nerf in a dragon ball fighting game with no true combos

It's so wild to watch people spam perception at EVERY opportunity
Wild and annoying. And then wonder why they can’t deal with higher skilled players. That crutch only helps for so long
