DADUQ!!🗣️🖤 As far as advice if you’re transitioning, the games are pretty similar but different at the same time. If you enjoy Tenkaichi and its control scheme then you’ll want to play on classic but know the game was meant to be played with its new control scheme. Also, the timing of things will def be different and certain mechanics are a bit more busted in this game than BT3. But you should be able to adjust once you cop this for sure. If you ask me, this is easier than BT3.

As long as we get back to our roots with having fun while still being competitive, it would help a lot of people mentally. Losing means there’s room to grow. That’s all it is. And you’re not lying about my thumbnails lmao. I’m still learning how to edit thumbnails really since I’m using CapCut and still figuring it out. I’m basically learning all of this from scratch and I know there’s a lot of common knowledge I’m missing on the photo editing side but just like gaming, I’m hear to learn. @@justcallmesage2279 I'd watch former Mr. Beast Podcast about thumbnails since I know a lot of people have clipped his podcasts about thumbnails. I'd check out Ali Abdaal about editing for you YT for videos since it's easy to digest videos and talks about keyboard shortcuts to speed up flow Otherwise just my opinion but to see if you make some thumbnails that don't have "too much" going on if that makes sense Otherwise still supporting the channel brother keep up the grind! But to the comment of the video... yeah, I personally want that aesthetic of being Z rank but also remembered that Dragonball should be fun and competitive not pissed and competitive

@idkaboutthisone232 I appreciate you watching brodie! I hope this little advice can help put something on people’s mind as they’re progressing through the lower ranks, in both gameplay and mindset. Training helps a lot as well, that’s in any fighter too. Spending time in the lab is a must (I gotta do it more honestly since I live test characters and stuff in DP😭). And I had to honor the legend man. I grew up watching his movies and interviews. Mr. Lee was born ahead of his time but gave us gems that last a lifetime😂🔥🗣️

@@Prestiginii appreciate it bro! Perception is definitely still an issue and overused defensive option with no repercussions. Only thing I can think of off top to fix it would be to tie perception to your ki. The longer you hold the more ki it takes.

Oh yeah, definitely an adjustment, but not one that'll be difficult to make. Im noticing at the lower ranks, no one wants to use it at all but I've been able to still use it to good effect. I'll see how the change really effects high rank play soon

@@jacklin6704 I can feel that. The vanish window is def tighter now and I don’t think it’s a bad thing. It’s just tough especially if you’re trying to figure out that window in training (still bugged to where you can’t vanish the second/third hit at times) or in ranked/online (not everyone’s connection is good and can throw you off with the timing due to lag). If you play with someone who has good connection, you’ll be able to pick up on it. I played with friends in player matches. That’s how I was able to figure it out and get my practice.

@idkaboutthisone232 that QOL change is one of the best things we got lmao. Crossplay would definitely help the health of the game, it’s just the way the game is optimized it wouldn’t be a good experience. Hopefully they can figure that out though. Crossplay is a pretty common thing now

@idkaboutthisone232 I don’t think they were late honestly. T8 did the same thing in about the same timeframe with updates and stuff so I think it’s fine. I haven’t been able to test out the patch yet but I will pretty soon

@@danye2041 not every fighting game since we’ve seen Tekken punish rage quitters and same with MK. I’m pretty sure SCVI did as well. What I’m saying is, most anime fighters definitely don’t have anything for rage quitters but more trad fighter do. Also, ranked for a fighting game is good since it gives your hardcore/competitive audience a mode to play. If they reset the leaderboards with the patch I think that would’ve been beautiful since we would’ve gotten rid of all the fraud high ranks, but they’ll be dropped off after this update. Leaderboards is standard in fighting games. Anime fighting game players usually have the ego of an anime character so the leaderboards ain’t doing much lmao

@@icarusablaze1831 you hit it right on the head bro. It definitely shows alot about the person on the other side of the screen. Using every advantage they can get still lacking the integrity to hold a lose if given to them. And there are plenty of people who share your sentiment about gaming now in general. People don’t know how to view a lose as a lesson to be learned. In fighting games it’s especially difficult since you can’t blame any teammates for your loss like in COD or Marvel’s Rivals for recency sake. Building communities around games now is the way to go to truly enjoy it because the general populace in multiplayer games don’t have the honor and integrity I experienced when I was younger. So I get it for sure. It’s less exhausting that way and you get to go back to having fun.

@@SHHitsOVER254 agreed. The combination of being able to pick 5 on top of the switch mechanic makes stalling the most viable tactic. I wouldn’t even be mad if they just gave us a 3v3 mode with 15DP limit. That would be more fun imo

@@sabcain it’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot. Perspective does a lot for how we see the world and the things we interact with. Gaming is a huge part of it because a lot of us (late 20s/early 30s) had a different idea of what gaming was people we only played locally. So we really never saw how people would “game” and the different ways they would do so. So to me, because I only fought people with honor and wanted to learn the game to get better, that’s what I believe gaming is in the fighting game genre…obviously with online gaming now, my perspective has been proven false lol. I’m thought process or ones like mine fall into the minority in todays gaming space

@@AldousShitbird yep. There’s a few ways you can counter. The main two I use is to force its activation after doing a Z Burst Dash or to start a combo and vanish after the first/second hit. Frustrates wild sense users every time

@@justcallmesage2279 I don't know if yall on the PSN are facing this issue either but (call this honorless but so be it) whenever I'm playing my Main Vegeta Blue ....(side note finally broke into the top 15 in the world of Vegeta Blue users) But whenever I'm playing my main per sa the randomizer on the opponent search will always drop me the basic MUIs, Gogeta, Vegito, etc. But the second I use MUI I'm getting dropped in on players I want to fight other vegetas, gokus, cells, and etc. I switch to meta to get back to the ranking I was on cause I usually just get salmmed by 10+ consecutive rounds of Meta** is what I meant above

@@jacklin6704 firstly, I appreciate the energy in watching and commenting bro. I really appreciate it frfr. As for your comment though, being A5 isn’t bad. The A ranks in my opinion are where you really start solidifying your knowledge in the game. Timing, your combo routes, how to counter certain things, etc. So don’t say you’re not that good yet. I literally just dealt with someone who’s at A3 rank and they relied on typical FP Jiren stuff to try and get a win but messaged me as if he’s good. So I’m sure you’re fine with how you’re explaining how you play with honor, which is difficult to do in the ranked scene of the game currently. That’s a mindset I can appreciate because in my experience, it’s usually attached to people who wish to either get better at the game by learning and experiencing or just want to play for fun. There are times when you have to spam to counter the spam. That’s completely understandable. I just typically use the spam hard counters whatever I’m dealing with, ie: ki blast for AIS, or IT for Insta Spark. I’m sure that’s what you’re saying you do and you can correct me if I’m wrong. Your character picks are solid as well. They’re mainly characters I only run into on DP but that makes sense because they may not be well equipped for singles. I’ve got some play time in with future Gohan and like him a lot but I have to play more with 17. Androids always just threw me off not being able to charge Ki lmao. @ just thought to continue the thread and maybe someone else wants to add in on my thoughts and help your channel grow a little through the Algorithm 1). I guess my mentality on the whole A5 being Meh is cause on average the disparity of fighting a MUI, Jiren, Vegito, Gogeta etc is like 2 of every 3 games So there is a bit of discouragment that comes to play cause you can’t counter the speed of Goget SSJ4 as effectively or the spam of full power vegito And there is a rank floor limit of B5 cause if you get into the B’s I notice your DP won’t fall past a certain place so once you get into Bs you’ll have I practically forever since I noticed on my 11+ losing streak on DP I try to have some honor in the game cause it does unintentionally turn people off on the game when they’re just getting insta sparked every other game. I think the best games I’ve had where it’s little special attacks used and minimal vanish wars. Just straight hands since you have to focus more on tech like side stepping and etc. and I’m still grinding cause I do enjoy the series and the legacy Toriyama left 2). I don’t usually spam AIS,sparking, and those skills unless I know my opponent is also using it When I talk about spamming I guess I more so mean using a move like Gamme Burst Flash cause it uses 2 bars but my justification for the spam is that I’ve gotten better with Ki management and foreseeing combos my opponent is coming to keep space But to put some people on game since it’s not much since anyone could’ve figure a combo like this out If you’re using a Character like Blue Vegeta if you’re able to keep the battle as close to the ground and use grab that slams the other into the ground it’s easy to chain it with a move like Gamma Burst since the opp. Bounces off the ground so there’s no opportunity to block as efficiently Is what I meant by spam personally since Vegeta blue doesn’t have Insta sparking, wild sense, AIS, and etc. 3). Otherwise yeah I try to rotate through some characters to see what I like Also if you have a discord community when your channel blows up lemme know would love to talk tactics and just the game overall Hopefully we can keep chatting on the thread and for whoever made it this far thanks for the read

@ sorry for the late reply! Been busy all day. I read this last night but didn’t reply. But I got time and energy now! So I can understand what you mean by the discouragement if you only gauge yourself and how much better you’ve gotten in ranked really. Like you have no one else you could play with that can give you the challenge and not spam/cheese you. If that’s the case I definitely understand because a lot of the time, you can’t even practice or put to use something you may have learned because you have to either change your gameplay to counter their spam or you get hit with everything they spam at you until you ko. At which point, “why the he’ll would I play the game” becomes an understandable thought process. I also didn’t know there was a skill floor either so that’s good to know. D and C ranks are only introductory ranks while B would be considered the real ranked floor. Learn something new everyday. Now spamming moves gets on my nerves as well. Not just skills. Because I’m like you, I enjoy the game more when playing the neutral. It’s the most tense and is the biggest chess game you can play because there’s so many options that can happen in so little time. I love that aspect of the game. Unfortunately others don’t. As for the combo you’re talking about, I’ve seen it done for sure. The only character I use that has a similar move would be Adult Gohan really. I prefer beams. And lastly I actually have a discord. If it’s not in the description I’ll start putting it there.
