  • Sorry for the poor audio in the video I have no idea what caused this to happen!
    But the FIA has yet again come out with some awful new rule changes to the world of motor sport which has left the community annoyed and confused.
    What are your thoughts on the news?
    Let me know!

    If it continues like this, I can see drivers like Max and Lewis walk away from the sport before 2026 gets underway.
    Questionable new regulations, ridiculous fines for virtually nothing and a FIA boss who wants to rule the entire thing all by himself... I wouldn't blame them.

      I wouldn’t blame them either! The sport is getting more and more ridiculous every year. Max is definitely no fan of this kind of management

    That’s your best video so far mate!
    FIA is run by a guy who totally admonishes human rights in his own country, where they are well known to have a shocking record.
    Let’s discuss swearing - really?
    “Jesus Christ this is bullshit and the FIA are useless - just a personal opinion”.
    IF a driver said that there is a 1 month ban and 120K fine right there !!
    On a separate note if you haven’t got into WEC then have a look. I’m a huge fan of F1 and have been to 10+ races but the racing in WEC is equal if not better.
    Keep doing what you do Chris.

    • @Chrisgpracing
      @Chrisgpracing  13 дней назад

      Thank you so much mate means a lot!
      Honestly I’d love it if every driver came out and said that at the first weekend of the year, what are you going to do ban all of them?
      I do fine the idea of WEC really interesting, I’ve watched parts of the 24HR LeMans before but never a whole race. Are they all as long? There’s 8 and 12 hours races too right?

    • @Linco381
      @Linco381 13 дней назад

      @@Chrisgpracing Yes all the races are long - 6, 8, 12, 24 hours - you’re never going to watch the whole thing- you just tune in every now and then - or watch the highlights.
      But it is amazing - they have BOP - Balance Of Performance - where after each race they adjust the handicap of each car so that they are evenly matched..Some run naturally aspirated engines, some run turbos etc there is no mandate on what you have to run. So they even the playing field with BOP - add ballast or restrict turbos or whatever and regardless of manufacturer they’re all in effect handicapped so they run the same lap times. It is cool. I’ve been to 1 race at Mt Fuji and it was more exciting than any F1 race I’ve seen live - having said that - all the races I watch and follow F1 on are on TV now. The WEC is multiple category - they compete in different classes and within every class they run different engines it is mad.
      Hope you’re enjoying Australia Day here in Sydney Chris.

      @@Chrisgpracing I also recommend the American IMSA Sportscar Championship. Both series are absolutey worth your time.
      Your standard WEC race is 6h long, but there is an 8h and a 10h race as well and Le Mans of course.
      IMSA race distances are more variable. Their standard is a 2h 40min sprint with some being shorter still. Then there are 5 enduros:
      24h Daytona (which is on right now), 12h Sebring, 10h Road Atlanta and two 6h races at Watkins Glen and the Indy Road Course.
      Sportscar racing might be a bit tricky to fully understand at first but once you do, I think it‘s more entertaining than most F1 races.
      Another advantage is, that the FIA isn‘t the only organization responsible. WEC is co-organized by the FIA and the French automobile club ACO.
      So the FIA doesn’t have that much grip on WEC and none at all on IMSA.
      It‘s pure racing, less bullshit and way more accessible for fans who don’t want to spend hundreds on just one ticket or a pay-TV deal.

    Wouldn't it be nuts if a championship is decided by this nonsense? Unfortunately it's not easy untangle from the FIA. I think the drivers are going to rebel if they follow through with it

    • @Chrisgpracing

      Honestly if that did happen I feel like everyone would stop watching. If you can’t manage a sport well the fans would just stop!

    I think that the FIA in itself is a religious statement. When the higher ups within the FIA present awards they are permitted to wear religious head coverings, but a driver can’t be religiously affiliated⁉️ It just doesn’t make much sense to ban normal every day human things because they aren’t “appropriate” for younger viewers. If anyone is that worried about the things the drivers believe/say they should watch the F1 Kids channel and move on with their life.
    In no other sport is swearing or religious beliefs so tightly controlled then within motorsport and F1. I just think if the FIA doesn’t stop messing with what people can do it will spark massive backlash and loss of respect.

    • @Chrisgpracing
      @Chrisgpracing  12 дней назад

      That’s a very good point! So many higher ups within the FIA are very religious. I think the issue is they don’t want western religious statements to be made…

    Motor sport is not F1. F1 is a small number of motor races each year and a multi million pound business with all involved only interested in money, money, money. Without it, genuine motor sport fans we would still have lots of real motor sport.
    The Fia is supposed to be the world governing body for motor sport but it is far too obsessed with F1 and its own self importance to the detriment of the actual SPORT
    F1 should be left to fend for itself, the Fia closed down and the ASNs responsible for national Motor Sport in each country should get together and form a new world governing body of people actually concerned with and about the sport and not money and personal aggrandisement.
