People don't realize that we cannot really compare Aldi's products with the Dollar Tree, and that is because Aldi makes a great effort to make sure that the products they carry are quality, even though they are unknown brands. I shop there all the time, and find that about 95% of their food items are equal to or superior to brand names, and are way beyond most of the junk you find at the Dollar Tree. Don't be afraid of brands you don't know from Aldi"s. You likely will not find everything you want there, but you can save massive amounts of money if you are on a tight budget. Try it once. If you don't think you spent about a third or more less than you normally do, then don't go back. But their products are fresh, and many products are very different and imported, as well. I love Aldi, and tell everyone who wants to save money about it. Good video, by the way.
I've been able to have dinner because of those quarters. Everytime I go to the store I put one quarter in but always leave with 2 or 3 because of people leaving them in the carts. Then I toss them in my car for an emergency cash stash. They have bought dinner when we were "going to go hungry tonight" level broke. They've bought emergency gas to get to work and have saved me when I needed air in the tire. When life is good and plentiful I leave my quarters behind for others who might be in my boat.

I've been shopping at ALL-DEE😉 for over 20 year's. The store has recently become more mainstream. If you don’t like a product or something is wrong, they guarantee your money back. I’ve done it a few years ago when I first started shopping there. Elsa Escobar I need to get better at this. We’re a family of 4, but 2 are 2 and under. We do like Aldi, in fact they just built one a few blocks from the Walmart Home Office.
@@jenniferwang3489 i completely get where ur coming from. My household used to be a family of 8 but the oldest 5 have moved out. And now with 6 kids,6 grandkids and hubby and myself i really need the coupons because they are over 4 dinner every Sunday!!
Elsa Escobar that’s impressive if that’s your total grocery bill for the month. I spend about $250-300 at Aldi a month for a family of 3. I get fresh cold cuts and other things like soft drinks elsewhere since aldi doesn’t have the tea we like. I would say I never spend more then $350-$400 a month on groceries since I shop 80% of our stuff from Aldi.
@@sueboo92xo39 that used to be what i paid when all the kids lived at home. Now with only my husband daughter and myself it has gone down. Except i do cook alot more food on Sundays but I make it work by couponing and shopping various stores too
i love aldi but mine is ALWAYS a mad house does not matter what time of day you go always 400 people up in that mug drives me insane. The are either professional aldi shoppers racing around being rude or first timers slow and messing up the flow. Then i check out and get my total and i'm like ok i guess i can deal with the madness
I say ALL-DEE. Been shopping there nearly 20 years since my husband's grandparents took us and showed us how we could save $ when we first got married. For sweet potatoes I normally pair them with sirloin steak and salad. I just buy the 1 big sirloin in the pack to grill and cut up and do bag salad and add toppings. I just wash the sweet potatoes in the sink, pop them in the microwave til done, and slice them down the center. I top them with spray butter (zero calorie Parkay--it's so good), sprinkle some cinnamon, a tsp of brown sugar, and a dash of vanilla. You could even use the sugar free syrups from dollar tree that people use in their coffee. Quick, easy meal that looks way more involved than it actually is. Enjoy! Love your channel!
Aldi caters to the local tastes. I'm a Canadian married to a Dutchman living in the Netherlands and the Aldi products in the US are vastly different than Dutch Aldi.
We prefer Lidl to Aldi. In the Netherlands, Aldi, Lidl and Dirk are the cheaper stores. Albert Hein and Jumbo are fancier and more expensive. We split our shopping between stores based on the flyers and regular prices for staple items.
I really wanted to do the same but they overcharge sometimes double than what it is at the store. Knowing the prices in-store vs what they charge online has made me not order.
Once in awhile it’s good when you’re really busy but you do or should tip the shopper aldi doesn’t associate with instacart but you can shop and choose the store
You can trust Aldi with everything. When I say everything I mean everything down to the can food, meat, and frozen stuff. Their fresh meat is not fatty (in my opinion). I love their milk and cheese better then Kroger's milk or cheese. If you don't go to Aldi you need to. I have a whole book with their prices if anyone wants to know
Girl. I got 3 rimmed sheet pans (1 pack.) 6 freaking dollars. Deal😍 Wrist band blood pressure machine $13. Deal😍 so many things cant name this store is crazy good
I used to love pork n beans. We would take pineapple in heavy syrup and some brown sugar. Mix it together, bring to a boil and then let simmer. We would fight over that bowl. Lol
I loved this! And I totally shout the praises of Aldi’s baby stuff 🙌🏻 I haven’t been impressed with the pull-ups, but the diapers, wipes, baby wash, baby food/snacks are all amazing & just unbeatable in the price!!
Aldi is definitely one of our favourite places to shop esp for our son, they do baby events multiple times a year over here (I'm in Ireland) and they are great we've got a lot of things at great prices like onesies, bibs, bottles, books etc,we swear by the nappies and wipes, at €2 99 for a pack of nappies and around €3/4 for a 4 pack of sensitive wipes you can't beat it our son loves the snacks and yoghurt from there too,it's great esp when on a budget (saving for our own home) we still can get everything we need along with 1 or 2 treats without breaking the bank
Aldi has good food. I've had stuff that I can't get at Walmart that I then have to go to Aldi to get. And around the holidays you would be shocked at all the holiday stuff they have. Everytime I have relatives coming, I get food there to cover their snacking and dinners without breaking the budget. and everyone loves what I make so no complaints here.
I love that they still go by EU standards when it comes to pesticides and genetically engineered food. In Germany we didn’t have all this GMO but they do what they can
"AL DEE" or "ALL DEE" 😩😩? EDIT: I watched the following German videos and they all say AL not ALL. Since ALDI is a German store. I'm saying what the germans say. 😊 ruclips.net/video/PLV2usjb6K8/видео.html ruclips.net/video/HZwXyvXLvFA/видео.html ruclips.net/video/WR0uTWFDUBM/видео.html
I just went to Aldi this weekend and got sweet potatoes and spinach. For a plain baked potatoes I like to do a light drizzle of vanilla extract, butter and sweetener of your choice: syrup, brown sugar, raw sugar whatever you want. Also try the sweet potato Casserole recipe from Boston Market with marshmallows. It's been a hit since I made it a few years ago for Thanksgiving. Just feel free to cut down on the sugar in the recipe. Hope you enjoy!
i love zucchini! sweet potatoes are great baked liked a white potato served with butter and cinnamon. otherwise boil and mash mix 3 cups with sugar and an egg. put in casserole dish top with brown sugar butter and pecans and bake at 350 about 30 minutes until hot throughout yum yum!
@one cute couponer thank You for the aldi experience! We just had an Aldi open up close by and I hadn’t had a chance to visit yet so seeing the prices and seeing things I am wanting to buy such as the zucchini I’ll definitely be stopping by the local Aldi! I guess your spontaneous trip was to show me where I could find some deals especially here at Christmas! This single mama appreciates you more than you’ll ever know!
Can you do a zero waste grocery haul at grocery stores? Or even costco. Buy anything not in a plastic package! That would be a hard one for you...that would be a challange lol I am trying zero waste so I would love to see you do it as well
Thanks so much for this informative video! I’m a college student and have not utilized the Aldi in my town and I feel like I could’ve been saving so much money!!
At our Aldi's many times people pass the cart on to an incoming customer. The recipient offers the quarter to the person with the cart, sometimes they take it and sometimes they say "I got it for free so I'm just passing it on". Also, they usually have empty boxes available to put your groceries in, which is good when you forget bags. Aldi's has the freshest produce of all the grocery stores in the area, with the exception of the farmer's market in the summer.
I have heard many youtubers talk about ALDI. We don't have one here in Southeast TX. I just found out this week that we are getting one in Beaumont this year. I can't wait to go shopping when they open.
Aldi has been here in Australia for almost 20 years now. They stock 2 of everything - 1 generic & 1 premium. If you have 5 in your tribe you can save a lot money. Non perishables can be bought in bulk & tinned goods are worth trying & stock piling in a pantry. I used a lot of the quick serve meals when I worked shift work & often I used 2 for a decent meal.
I usually by cases of the veggies in the can. Then I don't have to go for cans for a while. Sweet potato recipes I do one with a pecan praline topping Or with marshmallow Or baked with butter brown sugar and cinnamon.
The diapers are really good, the only reason we get the pampers we get is because we can get 220 for about $30 and that gets both kids through the month on Amazon. But when we need to have some to float while we wait for our order to come in, we definitely use Aldi when we can. The baby food is good, no unnecessary ingredients and I think they are organic. My Alan started foods on these purées, wed buy like 15 in store for the week (he had to snack on one in the store). We’re doing blw with our youngest so no purées except for applesauce.our oldest still likes a purée snack, so those are great to buy and keep on hand for car rides nd to keep in my purse for a quick snack option. Their baking stuff is good. I think the best thing about Aldi is their return policy. Don’t like it, take it back and they’ll give you your $ back AND let you try something else. I bought some pizza nice, hated it, came back into the store, got a different pizza and got my money back. I got some baby cakes this summer and they were moldy in the middle. Got my money back and got another bag of cakes (I opened them and inspect s this time). Only down side is lack of variety, but if your trying to get our fast, that may not be a bad thing.....
I LOVE Aldi. I live in Australia, so we can't get coupons here. My way of saving heaps of money is by shopping for most things at Aldi. We have saved thousands of dollars over the years by shopping there. We have also saved thousands on buying outdoor furniture and other furniture from there. It's great quality and cheap! xx
A friend turned me on to Aldis about 3 years ago. I love it! I can get in and out so much faster than other stores and save money. If you enjoy wine you must try The Winking Owl Merlot. A lady in front of me was buying a case of it for a party and was saying how good it was. I decided to try and now all the red wine drinking ladies in my family love it too. Their Choceur brand of chocolate is also really good. My husband thinks he has to have dessert after dinner so I buy a bar of the milk chocolate for him every week. I never thought any could be better than Dove but this.

Helen, another youtuber I follow turned me on to Aldi. She said the best time to go is in the mornings on Tuesdays. They have great markdowns and they put out new products. I tried it on Tuesday after a doctor's appointment and they had meat for 50% off, I went crazy. I love this store.
Lmfao, I really appreciated that intro so much
omg I live at Aldi ! There's one about 5 minutes from my house for 10 years now. I've bought a queen-size mattress (loved it), organic milk for a gallon $4.82 (!) woven baskets for my babies room, sheets, rugs, wine, beer, butter for $1.99, space heater, shade shelter for the beach for $10.00 (I burn easy), rolling designer luggage, overnight bags, toys, coolers, half 'n half $1.59, floor fan (works great), toddler boots, rain parka, slippers, very cheap but good pasta sauce, pasta, rice, imported cheeses from Germany and Ireland, dog biscuits, bread n' butter pickles (mmm), imported pizzas, olive oil, peppers,....all very reasonable and we save a ton !!!!
I shop at Aldi all time when i want something quick and easy and fun
Hi. I'm a new Subbie. I love shopping at Aldi. Their food items taste just as good or better than those high priced grocery stores. I used to clip coupons years ago. Your channel has me wanting to get back into it. Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks. Hugs from Philly.😊
im so thankful for aldi. i have saved so much money shopping there.
It's correctly pronounced
- ALL DEE - it's a German store. I married a full blood German. Lol, I used to say it AL DEE too. He corrected me for months until I said it correct.
Wait... I just read an article that said
AL dee... I'm super confused😩😩
@@onecutecouponer , I delighted in showing my mister that article, as to say, haha, you're wrong! ,🤣🤣
He said that they changed it because that's what Americans always say. And then BOOM! He assured me that it is All Dee. 😟 It's a German store and he's German and ,BLAH, BLAH BLAH, 😂😂😂I say we call it what we want too! 😁
Oh, and Thank You for sharing the information you do on saving. I love your content. You are an amazing Young Women ❤️
@@onecutecouponer right! I worked with a woman from Germany who says AL-dee.
Well the store pronounces it Al Dee so that’s what it is to me
@@lucykemp2872 the stores in our area say it both was.
The 3 wick candles definitely seem to be the same as Bath & Body Works candles.
Yes ! I thought the same !
__ $3 instead paying
$24.99 bath & body candles
They're fresh produce is really good quality!
My fav grocery store. I was just there yesterday.
me too girl and, I bought over $100 in groceries.
If you don’t like a product or something is wrong, they guarantee your money back. I’ve done it a few years ago when I first started shopping there. I also had a pizza priced wrong recently and they gave me a full refund along with the pizza for the mix up. They want to know what you don’t like about a product. They are always revamping items!
I do about $100 a month 4 a family of 3 at aldis
Elsa Escobar I need to get better at this. We’re a family of 4, but 2 are 2 and under. We do like Aldi, in fact they just built one a few blocks from the Walmart Home Office.
@@jenniferwang3489 i completely get where ur coming from. My household used to be a family of 8 but the oldest 5 have moved out. What ive done is shop different stores for the best prices and i also coupon alot.
Except i do cook alot more food on Sundays but I make it work by couponing and shopping various stores too
Elsa Escobar wow! You’re awesome. I could probably cut ours down by a bit
i love aldi but mine is ALWAYS a mad house does not matter what time of day you go always 400 people up in that mug drives me insane. The are either professional aldi shoppers racing around being rude or first timers slow and messing up the flow. Then i check out and get my total and i'm like ok i guess i can deal with the madness
I love lidl and Aldi!!! U get best quality at a unbeleivable price - the stores are clean and you get all you need!
I just used instacart app to get my aldi groceries for the first time today. It's amazing.
chris banks yes they do the app is called instacart
I really wanted to do the same but they overcharge sometimes double than what it is at the store. Knowing the prices in-store vs what they charge online has made me not order.
Once in awhile it’s good when you’re really busy but you do or should tip the shopper aldi doesn’t associate with instacart but you can shop and choose the store
Aldi needs self checkout lines. I don't like long lines so I don't go to Aldi often. This is why i prefer Walmart over Aldi.
You can also use the empty product boxes at ALL-DEE
Aldi. Al-dee.
You can trust Aldi with everything. When I say everything I mean everything down to the can food, meat, and frozen stuff. Their fresh meat is not fatty (in my opinion). I love their milk and cheese better then Kroger's milk or cheese. If you don't go to Aldi you need to. I have a whole book with their prices if anyone wants to know
I can listen to you talk about shopping at ALDI all day. Thanks for the video
I love the prices on the organics. This is my go to store.
I loveeeee aldis. Saves me and my family a lot of money when shopping.
Girl. I got 3 rimmed sheet pans (1
pack.) 6 freaking dollars. Deal😍
Wrist band blood pressure machine $13.
Best detailed Aldi video yet thanks 👍🏾
I love Aldi’s! My daughter would be mad if she heard me say Aldi’s. I can hear her saying mom! Aldi

All-dee
I say ALL DEE
ALL-DEE'S
So far... I'm out numbered. I can admit when I'm wrong lol... I'm still waiting on a final vote though 👀
I love Aldi. There products are as good or better than name brands. If you don’t like something you can take it back for a refund.
Spinach with some fresh juice and fruit.. Bomb Smoothie!!!!
🔥🔥 That sounds so good!
Yess I love their spinach, blueberries are 1.99 today in my area.
Im sorry.... but the ADI in NewYork is nothing cheap. Pastas are like 3 bucks.
@@nancicruz6918 There is nothing cheap in NY.
You killed it on this grocery haul!!! Congrats! Keep a few bags in your trunk for spontaneous shopping.
i love zucchini! sweet potatoes are great baked liked a white potato served with butter and cinnamon. otherwise boil and mash mix 3 cups with sugar and an egg. put in casserole dish top with brown sugar butter and pecans and bake at 350 about 30 minutes until hot throughout yum yum!
The cranberry candles are the best...
Yes olive oil a bargain and Its good
@one cute couponer thank You for the aldi experience!
That would be a hard one for you...that would be a challange lol I am trying zero waste so I would love to see you do it as well
I love Aldi. Their products taste as good if not better than name brand. They're always clean and have fresh produce with amazing prices. Love them...
Thanks so much for this informative video! I’m a college student and have not utilized the Aldi in my town and I feel like I could’ve been saving so much money!!
I'll have to take a look at your channel. Your attitude is very refreshing and bubbly. Great video.
This is my store, awesome prices and products. You can't go wrong!
i was searching for aldi videos on youtube and yours popped up-i cant wait to go to my renovated aldi's. Thanks! Just subscribed! :)
I love aldi
OCC GANG! Thanks for always lacing us up with the deals. We 💜 you Erica!
Aldi's has the freshest produce of all the grocery stores in the area, with the exception of the farmer's market in the summer.
don't forget you can get free boxes to put your things in from them!
I have heard many youtubers talk about ALDI. We don't have one here in Southeast TX. I just found out this week that we are getting one in Beaumont this year. I can't wait to go shopping when they open.
Oh yes! Fresh spinach smoothies! Nothing like drinking in your vitamins! 🥰
Always my weekly store to go to. Our prices here are a bit higher but still less than the regular grocery stores.
I take forever to choose produce for the same reason. Thanks for the Aldi video!
please do more of these love ur video's
Aldi has been here in Australia for almost 20 years now. They stock 2 of everything - 1 generic & 1 premium. If you have 5 in your tribe you can save a lot money. Non perishables can be bought in bulk & tinned goods are worth trying & stock piling in a pantry. I used a lot of the quick serve meals when I worked shift work & often I used 2 for a decent meal.
A recipe with sweet potatoes grate them and add them too pumpkin cake mix and bake them in muffin tins they are very simple and delicious
Do they have organic produce there?
Yes!!!
I love -all the- aldi cheap finds
I love that they have gluten free, organic and other great specialty diet items like I need for my families health needs.
I LOVE Aldi! Definitely (lol) going to try the candles and food storage containers.
thank you!!! I be trying to tell people about the spinach in smoothies are bomb😊😊😊you don't really taste it with enough fruit in it
I usually by cases of the veggies in the can. Then I don't have to go for cans for a while.
Sweet potato recipes
I do one with a pecan praline topping
Or with marshmallow
Or baked with butter brown sugar and cinnamon.
Jennifer Langston Thank you for this! Have a baby due in May and looking to cut costs! 💕
I love your vibe , and how humble and jolly you are ❤️❗
I LOVE Aldi.
Thank you for the tip about the $0.59 bath tissue. You put me up on game.
I love Aldi's ❤️
thanks for showing us the bargains and how to get the shopping cart and returning it. I was wondering about that. We made our 1st trip to Aldi last Saturday and we didn't know about how to get the shopping cart! ;) NOW i know....does Aldi has a good day or the BEST time to shop?
You did great on your shopping at Aldi 's.
I like to shop there.
