From Fragrance Du Bois I have a suggestion: Oud Orange Intense. I have from nearly all Fragrance Du Bois fragrances samples and in the last few days I tested some and Oud Orange Intense was among them... my wife got a sniff and she fall head over heels for this fragrance... From your lists for the autumn, I'm curious about Santal Basmati by Affinessence, Bal d''Afrique by Byredo, Tardes by Carner, and Santal Complet by Fragrance du Bois. They are probably all too expensive to buy and wear. I'm happy with (a few of) the perfumes I find in normal shops. I am suspicious of perfumes that are coloured because I imagine they could ruin a white top. (They won't make it any whiter anyway.)

Angelique Noire is one that I’ve been lusting over for years. I’m going to treat myself this year! Orchidee Vanille is good but I’ve always loved Bois Dore more. Thanks for sharing
I will be wearing Noir Exquis ( which I prefer to By the Fireplace which is sweeter and less smooth). NE is made by the same perfumer as Absolutio, so will have to try it too! I also wear Ume by Keiko Mecheri for its jammy fruit and spice, and Molton Browns Milk Musk for its peachy and vanilla/tonka milk vibe. I want to get my hands on a sample somewhere of Piano Santal! Thanks for the nice ideas. I love and wear Tardes, so I am not sure if my loyalty can part with it enough to try other Carner Barcelona fragrances 🤔🤔🤔
It is so refreshing to hear about some of the niche brands that I have never heard about from anyone before. I live in the US and the frag community here tends to rehash same brands over and over, like Tom Ford, Le Labo, Kilian, Byredo etc It’s so cool to discover some of the less known smaller niche houses. I am so excited to get my hands on some of the scents you mentioned and try them out 😀😀 Currently waiting on my Fragrance du Bois samples 😋 Also, I own Guerlain Angelique Noire, and I had no idea that it has a pear note, neither have heard anyone mention it. I thought the greenness comes from a note of Angelica root. I have never smelled it in its raw state, but that’s what most people say when they review this fragrance. That’s interesting. I thought I loved it but I rarely want to wear it, perhaps I am more of a straight up vanilla girl. I really enjoy Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille. I don’t own it but seriously considering, unless I find something else that piques my interest. Also own By the Fireplace , and yes, it is absolutely beautiful, warm, cozy. Perfect for colder seasons 😋😀
As a man I love By The Fireplace although it can lean a touch sweet in the dry down at times but it’s gorgeous unisex scent. I also love Angelique Noir and regret not picking up a bottle when o travelled more pre-Covid! Some beautiful and intriguing choices. Love your content

Yes I have! I have Nirvana Bourbon which I added in my top 10 list from last year I believe and have a full blog post about it too. It's an awesome boozy vanilla scent. Check it out :)
Right now I have a bigger preference for Santal Complet, I think it's perfect for this time of year. When it gets much colder I will probably wear more Piano Santal, it's more cosy and comforting :)
Ok on the gentle fluidity gold i heard it smells like intense cafe .i dislike intense cafe its very metallic generic smelling on me.but the way you describe it seems to resemble candy. Just curious so confusing.

When a perfume has a leather note, please let us know. Some of us can't stand leather notes. I won't even consider a perfume that has a leather, civet, or castoreum note.
There's many women who fond of wearing men fragrance, here i live. It seems they don't find feminine capability and worthiness in women fragrances. There are few brands and fragrances women rely on.

If you like myrrh and tonka you should try Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka Cologne Intense which is amazing and long lasting.

Santal Complet is more airy, like gold powder and sophisticated. Piano santal is richer, denser & creamier, also more cosy.
What do you think about the new formulations / weaker concentrations from Fragrance du Bois?
Yes, please watch Fragrance with Ami’s video about FDB. They are being shady and a lot of customers noticed the big changes in formulation.

Hi Marie! I get decent longevity from Cafe Cabanel ~6h but it’s true the initial strong opening will tone down a little
