Very cool feature of RUclips and I love it for accessibility, but I will always prefer owning your platform vs renting space on another. I doubt you get access to email addresses in RUclips, and therefore if you ever get deplatformed you lose everything...

Really helpful and love the pacing of the presentation. Workflow question: When you are creating a screen capture with talking head and slides via something like Screenflow do you bypass its editing features and simply import a rough cut into Descript? Would love your opinion. Thanks
Thanks for the video. Video Hosting Service is the most common creators problem. What do you think about RUclips private videos which cannot be shared? We just need to put their email address. And one important thing is copyright system (like the one that RUclips has), so you might have a copyright violation if you used some background music... Another question, what do you think about cms platforms where we can use this video hosting services. Because, firstly we need to provide some credentials for accessing the course... I wouldn’t use YOuTube if the videos are important to your business. They can change the rules whenever they want, and adding thousands of email addresses to access private content sounds like a nightmare

This is my situation now, I no longer want to use unlisted videos on RUclips. I just finished a 3-hour production and now I'm scrambling to find a video host that will also allow me to work easily with my PayPal business account. The groups that I am looking at, our cost-prohibitive at this time

Hi John, have you ever heard of Adilo? They are a game changer in video hosting and you have complete control over privacy and what control options show on your videos. They have periodic lifetime licenses up for grabs, so glad I grabbed it when I did.

Have you used the video hosting in screencast o magic? I was looking at that as an option but then would need a solution for files 🤔
That is a service is could have included… similar to Descript it’s an ok host but very easy to grab the video files

Don't do it. You need the encoding that all the hosts do. Otherwise it's a horrible experience for many of your viewers.
S3 is nice for hosting your files, but the video hosting experience was clunky and did not hold a candle to Bunny
I believe that Descript now allows you to embed without the sharing option.
