Here are the top 10 best serves in Haikyuu!! As I promised. This will be one of many top tens on this channel. Hopefully you guys do enjoy this type of content as I am trying something a little new! it's a no brainer at this point that the miyagi prefecture has the better players compared to some of the other prefectures.
Also how come i dont see hinata’s season 1 serve in the practice match against aoba johsai that hit kageyama like that was clearly the best one🙄😡😂

Miya is the best but oikawa serves are more "beautiful"
In fact atsumu serve is more powerful and better then oikawa his serve is number one in all japan for under 19 it's just that oikawa's was animated in a better way.
Actually, Oikawa has more power than Atsumu (even in stats). The thing is, Atsumu is a dual-wielder and has more technique.

Actually, Oikawa's serves were better because his technique was better, he had more power, and it was so fast the opposing team didn't have time to react (NO seriously by the time the ball hit the ground HE WAS STILL IN THE AIR)

Kageyama Serve's : 60 to 70KPH
Ushijima Wakatoshi : 70 to 90KPH
Mad Dog : 70 to 80KPH
Hoshiumi Korai : 70 to 85KPH
Miya Atsumu : 80 to 90KPH
(Unknown)
Sakusa : 70 to 100KPH (Super OP)
Note , They are High Schoolers so the Speed of their Serves are also calculated based on their Standards.
One more thing to note , 70KPH is enough to make a ball teleport from the other side of the court to the other one.
Oikawa has the fastest serve hands down its not even an argument when he did the serve he was still in the air while the ball was already in the ground and noone even saw that serve so oikawas has the fastest serve

The impressive thing about Oikawa’s serves is that they have variety in animation. I actually prefer on top of them all the “that was a nice serve toss” with “that was basically a spike” as a close second.
They also tease it (with Oikawa slowly walking to the serving point) and used music change, rhythm change and silence. Also Oikawa says something different each time or sometimes he doesn’t talk at all. That’s something they don’t really do in animation for service (except for floaters which are the most vary).
That’s something I really miss a lot from season 2. Now you can also predict right away how the serve is going to go (while Oikawa’s first serve with “that” animation is actually out and Yamaguchi’s best floater was actually saved by Iwaizumi).
I like it a lot when you don’t know what the player will go for. That’s a thing left only for Atsumu’s tosses and Bokuto spikes, you can’t predict the results of neither.

i love this sky serves in real life when i do them against my friends it is always so funny. specially when we are outside in the summer and the sun is trigger the eyes when the ball comes from the top of the sky.
Hoshiumi’s Jump serve is my favorite. The soundtrack and how it hits with the animation is just 👌👌👌👌

In my country ,in my school i was taught the number 6 serve when i was a beginner ,but i was taught to hit the ball with an open palm. We were supposed to hit the ball with the harder side just above the wrist. Some people would close their palm some don't. It all mattered that you get the ball over the net.

My review on trying to pass a skyball…
The momentum of the ball increases as it falls, it’s nearly as strong as a jump serve. Not many people know how to receive a skyball serve, so you’ll end up with 2-7 service aces. (Quit note: it’s hard to aim)
So yes, a skyball travels fast enough to knock the opposing team’s defence off

Oikawa's Debut Jump serve and his Jump serve vs. Karasuno
Ushijima's Jump serve vs. Karasuno. Man he's super intimidating.
And in Kageyama's serve I probably like his Jump serve in season 4 that no touch service ace of Calm Kageyama is superb!
I like also Atsumu's jump serve but it lacks of visually stunning effects like on Oikawa and Mad Dog's serve just to put an intensity on it's powerful jump serves.
Yamaguchi's jump float serves too is dangerous. I mean the ball will fall on court without a warning even though it doesn't hit strongly just like what other jump servers do.
Miya Atsumi serves in the future gonna be insane.
