Yes, the Meshtastic device (outside of the video view) is sending the encrypted signal on 868MHz. Meshtastic is a community-driven, open-source project using LoRa radios for long-range encrypted communication.

Can't the Hack RF with Portapack do the full Meshtastic stuff as well?

I think you could decode Lora signals with HackRF but I don't know if anyone has tried to create a firmware for HackRF to transmit in Meshtastic packet format.

@@TechAirSpace There is a Reddit post(of course) of someone, who has half baked code released. I guess, no one capable if coding, has taken the time and effort, to write a proper App for Mayhem.
