Me when first time playing this with my friends. "Why is the killer camping??". My friends only know this game but didn't know dead by daylight. They dont know this game is inspired by dead by daylight. Funny thing is even all the killers is somewhat similar to dbd. Like the gunslinger.

This is why idv is like dbd and has many similar mechanisms
So slow down your horses! Idv is not a copy of dbd and has its own mechanisms and even gamemodes
There is even a video in the official idv youtube channel that dbd devs address the reason behind similarities
