    Good video but unfortunately he forgot to test the Horn, I'm pretty sure it just skipped his mind. Also check the front windscreen, check for cracks and even stone chips.

    DVSA told me you don't check if a seat belt locks when pulled

    Service brake travel check should be done with engine off (power assisted brakes)

    The car need to be tested as presented, if presented with windows down you cant make them up....

      That is true that car is to be tested as presented, But if it's presented with the handbrake down am I allowed to raise it? if the customer brings it in with the bonnet down am I allowed to put it up? what about the lights? If it's presented with the lights off Am i allowed to turn the lights on to test the lights?

      @michaelkennedy8573 my friend, unfornetely MOT have lots of grey areas , meaning windows are open if you try to close and damaged something is tech responsibility because you don't need to check if they open or close.... Lights are part of main safety so yes if something happens is not your responsibility because need to test, and imagine the switch brake when you turn lights on, straight fail cuz not safe to the road, but without windows the car still safe to the road, lots of grey areas as I said
