Amazing video, completely agree with everything and demon slayer is also one of my favorite anime’s of all time. This upcoming arc is gonna SHATTER our expectations and set a new standard for anime
I know hes talking good about the show, but saying that the last two seasons are kinda lackluster is so annoying. If you are truly emotionally invested and love all these characters, the last two seasons are beyond hype and emotional throughout.
Agreed. Nearly every video ive seen about this topic just has to mention how the last 2 seasons werent good and that ep 8 of s4 saved the show 😒 and their reasoning is always bcos there was no action or something. smh
i def love demon slayer but i agree w him. season 3 felt rlly dragged out and repetitive, and s4 was supposed to build relationships w the characters but it only rlly did it well for gyomei and giyu. they weren’t bad but they weren’t as good as the other seasons
@@eternaldragon2745 As the guy above me mentioned, it wasnt just giyu and gyomei. Tengen, mui, genya, sanemi, obanai and the fodder slayers - all had some development in s4.

as a manga reader the infinity castle arc isnt as long as people are describing but it’s probably one of the longest arcs. maybe people forgot that the sunrise countdown arc is a seperate arc. since ufotable did say that they’re adapting the infinity castle arc into a movie i think after the 3rd movie demon slayer will come out with a final season to end the show
That's actually a great idea. The best arc gets divided into a trilogy and the final arc can be series which can conclude the ending better than how it was handled in the manga
IC is 44 Chapters. Enough to make anywhere from 15 to 22 episodes, depending on how often they'd adapt 2 chapters per ep, as opposed to the 3 they usually animate. But agreed, I'm betting that SC will be after the trilogy. That's another 22 chapters. And Mugen Train was only 12 chapters. By the same formula, a film will carry anywhere from 12 to 18 chapters without the loss of quality. We'll probably get the Mugen Train season treatment and IC will be released as an episodical format, leading up to the Sunrise Countdown Arc.
Great video! Just a small correction: Demon Slayer only has 1 movie. The other 2 were never advertised as movies but rather as “special screenings” of episodes. People got confused and thought they were movies just because they were in theaters but even In the trailers it says special screening but the Infinity Castle trailer clearly says movie trilogy. So I wouldn’t be worried about episodes mashed together.
I think a movie trilogy is probably the best way to go about it. Pacing would be next to impossible to be done right with how the arc goes and the nature of the TV episodic medium.
demon slayer is my first anime in my 30 years of life. I gotta say that I met diamond on the get go and I bet no other anime can surpass these kind of quality. AoT is my second anime and that would be on 2nd place in term of animation quality
Great video!! I love everything abt this lmao😭💖 Just gotta say that Infinity castle will be a lead up to sunrise countdown arc where then everything will end and we’ll possibly maybe get extra scenes for their future !! Even possibly demon slayer reincarnations!!
3 movies should be enough to cover it all. And I think that probably that they'll do is they'll have to do a lot of shuffling events around to create a coherent story, but considering their amazing track record with anime original content and elevating the source material rather than just adapting it, I think they got this
I don't think you should worry of the movies being clumped cause there's a theory that ufotable already finished one. Did you now that Entertainment District season was already made when the Mugen Train was on air? What if Ufotable is already on the second? Some srudios have problems where they are running out of time and that's why the animation gets ugly and stuff. Ufotable is INCREDIBLE . If I ever make manga that I want it to turn into anime, ALWAYS UFOTABLE.
@@wilbusgilbus7232It's a Trilogy? And the Infinity Castle only has enough content to cover the first movie and the first half of the second. Meaning Sunrise Countdown will take up the second half of Movie 2 and all of movie 3.
The infinity castle arc is chapters 137-183 so 47 chapters ep 8 adapted chapters 137,138,139. That’s 44 chapters left for three movies which could be done in 2h-3h. Then for it to be adapted into a season of 18-27 episodes. With the sunrise countdown arc with 22 chapters being adapted into 9-12 episodes
Once chainsaw man part 2 gets adapted, shits gonna get crazy. That said I don't think that its a good idea to start adapting manga into movies, for a couple reasons. For example it takes much longer to produce, and provides less content. Im sure that lots of money goes into making anime as it is, but you can't exactly have entire seasons in the length of a movie, it means that you have to skip over stuff, or, make tons of movies, which probably costs more money, so I think its more effective and just better for the audience to get 25 minute episodes every week, to not only allow for a better handle on pacing, but also for audience comprehension

Should’ve just done a really long season and then one final movie for the sunrise countdown arc and the future arc
Season 1 was 26 episodes. They could just do the last one as a season.
Jujutsu Kaisen Movie 0 also did a pretty damn good job at the box office too!

I would like to see a Dragon Ball Z movie directed by Zack Snyder
Are you me?
I’ve been saying this for years…
Brolly - Snyder Cut
The action could be pretty great as long as only 5% of it is slow mo

i dont believe it will wwrap in 3 movies, it could be 3 movies in episode format extended plus final season
3:50 Even Episode Nagi was succesful (in my country at least), even though it's just a reanimated version from a different perspective.

Those are some really good points
Is Infinity Castle and Sunrise Countdown different arcs? or is the latter part of the former arc?
They’re different arcs, but supposedly the last movie will include sunrise Countdown
3 movies is like 9 episodes
So im assuming we will have a whole new season after the movies (i don't wanna assume the other possibility)
First 🎉
breh theres a another arc after the 3 movies whys everyone saying its concluding on these 3 movies
I don't think Ufotable would milk the show that hard, they'll probably include the Sunrise countdown arc with the final movie
Anime gonna become stupid movie cash grab thanks to this crap
