i don't know why the trend for faster and faster gearing, it felt so weak and hard to turn
It all depends on what you are fishing for and the type of lures you are using. If I need more power then I will step it down.

I totally agreed with you, I own the 8000hg Sw and the handle knob it’s a little too big compares to the reel.
