Thank you Charlie for talking about your experience with bad parts of your life and moving on from them. I’m actually in therapy myself at the moment dealing with some childhood issues, but just as I feel like I’m beginning to come out of it, this past month has been so awful. In the last month I’ve been hit by a vehicle, and then 3 weeks later I was in a car accident where my car may be written off, and I’m not having a good time, not sure what’s going on with my life at the moment. People keep telling me to be grateful that I’m Physically ok as it could have been worse and I’ll come out of it stronger, I certainly don’t feel like I’m strong at the moment. but these things can also mentally affect you as-well, and it’s hard to deal with all the rubbish all at once. I’m hoping the new year brings better things and hopefully a reset. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
You are such a joy to watch. You always have a smile on your face and a positive attitude. I too had a difficult childhood which I now as an adult recognise as being abusive. I always say regarding my mum that I loved her but didn’t like her. Her death over 30 years ago was I’m ashamed to say a relief as she no longer had a hold on me. As you rightly say our past teaches us so much and shapes who we become. Love to you and yours for the festive period. x

Di is a friend and I pay her for her help, she helps with the horses, house sits and is wonderful at curtains and upholstery! And she is a wonderful cook! We don’t have family to turn to but I have Di xx
