Goddamn, I'm loving the injecting of AC2 OST into this. That game in itself was directly inspired by the original Top Gun movie. This is the most Japanese I've ever heard Danger Zone, and I'm loving it to bits. It screams 80's so damn much.
I goddamned love it, especially because it just makes you feel a lot more suspense right? cos both AC2 and Top Gun are so suspenseful individually, when they mix their themes, it is the definition of suspense and 80s

Maverick, the best Ace Combat film never made. Seriously the end is straight up White Noise and the next game I'm dying for a few nods back. A volleyball or beach football scene? Huxian getting her jollies watching the Strangereal equivalent of the film? Maybe Edge test piloting Pilgrim One and it's a Dark Star or Blackbird style plane.

i just watched the movie and there is a scene with danger zone so theres that but i was expecting a remastered version near the end and i'm not giving spoliers cause your going to have to watch the movie to understand my disappointment

Ace Combat 2 was my first experience as a kid and holy hell it ruined my ability to focus on things not aircraft related later in life
