I have a business idea for anyone willing to take it on. Size charts expect the waist to be smaller than the hips and bust. My waist is equal to my bust and two inches wider than my hips. Not only does my belly stick out of tops, but my belly is often two-three sizes larger than everything else according to size charts. So, I'd love to see the rise of a good quality clothing brand designed specifically for apple shaped women. I'd like basic tshirts that fit.

It's such a journey being postpartum. I feel like my tailbone will never be the same again 😝💃 I recommend putting everything away that you don't feel great in right now. You may come back to them later. Honour your amazing boddyyyyyy women are so beyond POWERFUL ✨️✨️🥂 trying a new silhouette might be just the ticket for this in-between phase 💖

Life/job changes 2 years ago made me scale down my wardrobe (ashamed at the volume of clothes I never wore and wasted money I couldn't afford). Quality and timelessness with a slight edgy twist over quantity and impulse purchasing now!

E.g. it makes me stand out when I want to blend in or vice versa! If I go out like that it throws me off for the rest of the day no matter what anyone says. I think I rely on my clothes to balance me out or bring out certain sides of me 👑
I know exaccccctly what you mean! In a way it's comforting to think "well no matter what I wear somebody is bound to admire it" 😝 but I'd rather have the peace of mind knowing that I'm in alignment with myself for that day 🥰💃

I remember having a school uniform and it was my biggest issue with school 😤 Uniforms rarely align to someone's personal style, they are meant to erase personality to a large degree. I agree that accessories can go a long way with expression at work (even though depending on your style some things will be discouraged) especially meaningful jewellery. Also badass underwear!! Remembering who you are underneath it all and then letting your hair down outside of work hours as well 💖 the struggle is real tho
@@AlannaLightheart it so easy to get tempted by other less practical items 🙈 Sometimes when I actually need a garment (like a winter coat at the moment) I find it really difficult to actually find one that I like and fits my criterias. I don't want to settle and get kind of stressed about it, because I know I need it. And that's of course when I find something like the perfect pair of stylish ballet flats but isn't what I really need 🤦♀️
@@sigriddjernaes the universe can be so cruel 😭 I know exactly what you mean 💔 I feel like for me as long as I know I have money squirreled away for the coat so I can buy it immediately when it appears, I would also just get the ballet flats if I can afford it at the time 🤭 that's my philosophy for now haha

I try to set a number of items I'm "allowed" to buy per year in order to consume more mindfully and have a curated wardrobe, so I will also reserve a space in that number for my winter coat. But it's quite possible that the ballet flats will find their way into my wardrobe as well 🤭 Have my I on a gorgeous pair from Flattered.
