Never knew this even existed. I completed my set of open figures a while back. Interesting that the daggit in the box is the darker one, while the art on the back shows the lighter one (which is the one I still have 40 plus years later.)
Cylons almost never on the shelves back in the day. Had all the on card versions and Tan Daggit whose tail broke off. Ovion was great- 4 posable arms. very heavy solid sculpt
Really cool piece of History and it's in really nice shape. Did you say " $60-" ? That does seem kind of pricey for 1979. Awesome video and thanks for sharing!
@@battlestarcollectica7106 I do believe you. God that just seems expensive not only for 1979 but the fact that Star Wars really ruled the Roost even back then! Very interesting.
I had all these figures, if Mattel were to re-release these on Mattel creations I’d buy them.
Lets hope that they do! Come on Mattel!!

Mattel did a few "store exclusives" like this set. Thanks for watching!
That set looks fabulous! I had some of the wave one figures in the U.K. in the late 70s!
Very cool
WoW, this set is in excellent condition, wonderful! 😃👍
Took a long time to find a good boxed set!
I remember seeing one of those at our local Belk Lindsey department store at the mall.
If we could only go back in time!! lol!

The Ovion was and still is a fantastic figure!
I managed to find an Imperious Leader figure back in the early eighties..it was quite exciting since BSG merchandise was very scarce where I lived.
Great memory and thanks for watching!
Wow

Probably more like $16. You could have bought 24 Star Wars figures for $60 back then👍
I had one with a $59.99 price tag from Macy's. Very expensive for 1979!

Great piece. I am lucky to also have one. Yours looks slightly better condition though.
Very fragile piece! Thanks for watching!
I had Daggit and the Cylon
Both are classic figures that even Star Wars collectors seek out!
I have the imperious leader in mint condition sealed. I bought it on ebay 20 years ago for $50. In all this time it hasn't even gone up in value. Grrr
He was the peg warmer for the series. Now the Gold Cylon Commander is another story. That figure can hit $1000!
@@battlestarcollectica7106 Yes I can imagine
