Very interesting - it is hard to picture the actual places with all the buildings over all the sites - however can see probabilities. I am very interested for you to vlog about Skull Hill and the Garden Tomb.
Thank you for making me aware of this interesting Church. The paintings are amazing. I really need to return to Jerusalem pronto! Another great job, Danny. Can't get enough of your videos.
Thank you so much Danny, you brought me closer to God, my Savior. I will be in Israel this Sept 2023, i hope to see all these places where .Jesus lived and died.
As Protestants we believe that Jesus wanted us to worship Him and not the exact places where he was born and where he died. People build temples in these places if they think it is the actual place. It is by Scripture and archeologists that we can get close which is enough. I've been to Israel on two different times and hold it dear to my heart as He is in my heart. Thank you for your videos.
Just imagine if jerusalem was never destroyed by romans and other emperors, everything would hv still survived. That would have been a miracle. And a joy for us living in modern time
From my understanding, the eye of the needle was an entrance into the city and pretty much was designed to limit camels in (to be taken in one instance, not a definition) and was more or less a low gate but not a narrow one. You had to basically train your camel to get down on its belly and crawl through which I understand is extremely hard to do (I know nothing about camels btw). They weren't forbidden into the city but if you could get them through then hauling supplies was a lot easier. If you agree or disagree then I'd love to hear your comments, it's open for discussion.😎
Alexander Nevsky was a vassal of Batu Khan. Some prefer to use an euphemism and call him Batu's adopted son. He was also a good friend of Sartaq (Batu's son). Sartaq was a Christian. The Mongols had complete religious freedom which was really odd in the 13th century. They literally had members of different religions in the same family and it caused them no anguish. Alexander Nevsky might be a hero in Russia, but not so much for other people. For me he is an enemy. He also fought against the Livonian Order and the Livonian order was a branch of the very famous Ordo domus Sanctae Mariae Theutonicorum Hierosolymitanorum (Order of the German House of St. Mary in Jerusalem) aka the Teutonic Order.
You refer to the garden tomb which is the place according to the Protestants. The Catholic, Orthodox, Armenian, Coptic and more churches believe that this is the site.
Al Ma-idah 116 : ( QURAN ) And when Allah said: “O Jesus, son of Mary! Did you say to the people: ‘Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah’”, he said: “Glory be to You, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right. If I had said it, You would indeed have known it. You do know what is in my soul as well and I do not know what is with You; Surely, You only You, are the All-Knowing of all that is hidden (unseen, unknown)”.

How long should one stay in Jerusalem in order to visit all the sites you’ve shown in this series?
A month?😂
Show the garden tomb and Gordon’s Calvary too
Coming up.. next week..

I stick to the literal meaning of what Jesus said. Anything else would be speculation

Golgotha is not at that church. Golgotha is outside the city and next to it there's a bus station now. It's shaped like a skull.

Wait for my review of this site.. next week..

Mary is not trinity
Sorry I do not believe it because it is too small to be a City Gate so it is probably a house gate.
I think it was a gate to a building or a courtyard.
