The land draw on the first game was wild
Ever since the update last week lands been feeling inconsistent
Dude it’s SOO much worse now. I’d say 75% of my matches are who can’t get screwed
I’ve noticed the same far as the hand smoother with possible changes
I've watched so many people drafting woe arena open on youtube and every single one of them lost when they only drew lands for several rounds. Seems broken.

This is easily my favorite deck you've drafted in the YT videos and I thought it looked pretty incredible. Then to see it start 0-2 is exactly what my experience has been in this format. So many 2-3 to 5-3 decks....

@@chubbs6684 The problem is that you aren't actually drawing cards at complete random, it's an algorithm designed to simulate random draws. Right now, not just personal experience, the draws are kind of fucked. 10 test games in a row last night to check why the game felt so weird. I put one of every card in my deck except for 3 cards I put four of in, plus typical mana. Out of 10 of those games, I got one game where there wasn't groups of one of the 3 cards clumped together with it's brothers.
It's happening way more now than it ever has in MTG Arena. At this point the only thing you can do is play brawl, because at least then you only have to worry about lands.
Can you explain your choice at 35:50? Were you unable to grab a swamp? That is where my mind is at wrt the play decision.

at 35:35 mins in the video when you cast the knight adventure side, could you not have filtered the black mana with grotto/grotto and island, draw see if you hit land, then still have brave with green left up to fetch for land? instead you had island left open... were u trying to hit for bitter chill on the puff?

I think this format punishes those who do not play 17 lands, even if you have ramp spells like brave the wilds. Every time I tried playing 16 lands I got screwed or flooded (strangely)
just curious, has anyone seen Old Flitterfang or Experimental Confectioner in any of their drafts? I haven't seen them in any of mine

I have a high percentage of flooding lands in the 1st game of a draft on Arena.

This deck was super good but the opponents were outdrawing you every game :/
I quit playing this set because of all the land floods. Wasting money and having zero fun. Variance can go …. You know the the rest.
Just not sure how in your essentially hard 3 color deck u can pass utopia sprawl and also not take 2nd prism when u know you're gonna b searching hard for bargain spells and u need fodder and fixing and also pass search for a land make a 1/1 when u have 2 gluttons. These r bad fundamentals imho.

You can’t keep blaming your draws. At some point you must accept that you PUNT. We all want what’s best for you, but denial is not the route forward.
