It takes 320 items per hopper clock, however the first one has to make those items travel 320 to the power of 10 times which is about 1,126 * 10 ^ 25 items, the next one has to do those 320 items 320 ^ 9 times, so in total the summation from 1 to 10: 320 ^ n items. This is actually relatively speaking not much more than 1,126 * 10 ^ 25, it equals in total 1,129429374 * 10 ^ 25 items. A hopper clock transfers 2.5 items per second so not counting the piston timing this machine will take a staggering 4,517717495 * 10 ^ 24 seconds to complete, that's 1,143255882 * 10 ^ 17 years, that's longer than the earth has been around for, and ever will be most likely. That is actually 10232563 times longer than the estimated lifespan of the entire universe up untill now. It will most likely not end before the universe ends. That is mental.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but in terms of each time that the pistons move on each unit, it will only power the following mono stable circuit every other time. This would mean that it requires 640 items being sent over in the first clock unit to get on item sent over in the next as opposed to your given 320. Using this I found the time to be around 146,000,000,000,000,000 millennia.
An infinite hallway, every time you step further, the blocks behind you move in front of you so you can just infinitely walk and the blocks behind you become the ones in front of you
About that piston extender: "High up in the North in the land called Svithjod, there stands a rock. It is a hundred miles high and a hundred miles wide. Once every thousand years a little bird comes to this rock to sharpen its beak. When the rock has thus been worn away, then a single day of eternity will have gone by."
Actually, the Happy Birthday song is public domain. From Wikipedia: "The copyright expired in the European Union on January 1, 2017. In the United States, a federal court ruled in 2016 that Warner/Chappell's copyright claim was invalid and there was no other claim to copyright."

I believe if he broke the corners, the chicken explosion would have worked. When he stepped inside, the chickens went to the corners. So if he broke the corners, it most likely would have exploded.
it would take 4.5035996e+24 or 320^10*0.4 seconds to extend that piston, 7.5059994e+22 minutes 1.2509999e+21 hours 5.2124996e+19 days 1.4280821e+17 years so thats 142808207.362 billion years have fun waiting xD
Surely it would take 640^10 ticks for the piston to extend. Divide that by 20 ticks per second. Then by 60 to get minutes. Then by 60 again to get hours. Then by 24 to get days. Then by 365 to get years So it would take 1.827645054x10^19 or 18276450540000000000 years. To put that into perspective that is 4023651891 times longer than the time the earth has existed which has only been around 4.543 billion years. So even if you started this machine the instant the earth formed, and it ran until the sun (is estimated to) dies it would only be 1/1915168243 of the way through
Actually, it wasn't Disney anyway, but Warner. From Wikipedia: On February 8, 2016, Warner/Chappell agreed to pay a settlement of $14 million to those who had licensed the song, and would allow a final judgment declaring the song to be in the public domain, with a final hearing scheduled in March 2016. On June 28, 2016, the final settlement was officially granted and the court declared that the song was in the public domain.
Yes, it's true that the melody and text is in public domain. That doesn't mean that you can freely use the song recorded by someone else though. So, unless he records the song himself he can't legally put it in the video.
For the chicken explosion, here's a better way. Just do what you did, and break the block beneath the chickens. Make sure there's a floor beneath it (at least 7x7 should be enough), and they should explode.
Seth Tan not to my knowledge no. But the real question remains, does he really need to? Because he makes some amazing things without em... almost as if.... is mumbo jumbo a command block?!? O.O 😲
When I was younger, I chose to just turn off my computer's volume whenever my redstone machines (or nether portal) were too loud. But when I was mining diamonds next to a lava lake I couldn't hear that creeper noise which would have saved my life- or diamonds
Ok, let’s get going on this math. The timer is done in a way to where the number of items needed to be moved increases exponentially. So, 640^10 or 11,529,215,046,068,469,760,000,000,000 items will be moved. Items move from hoppers at a rate of 2.5 items per second, giving us 4,611,686,018,427,387,904,000,000,000 seconds. I’ll skip all the conversions of time and just get right to the good stuff. That is equivalent to about 1,462,356,043 giga years(1 billion years) 3876 mega years(1 million years) 8008 millennium 1 century 1 decade 7 years 257 days 23 hours 6 minutes and 40 seconds. This is so long that it’s about 105,967,829.203 times older than the universe. This timer could have been started at the Big Bang and it would still be going right now and wouldn’t even be 1% done. Yeah, so it definitely won’t finish in Mumbo’s lifetime, or anyone’s lifetime for that matter.

The complicated piston single piston extender reminds me of the 52 factorial, which is the number of ways a single deck of cards can be arranged. 52x51x50x49... and so on
Mumbo I think you could really make a minigame with that ticking time bomb like if you are not able to do something in time, the bomb explodes and the player dies. If you make it you survive by like getting blast protection armor to survive. Just a cool idea i had in mind.
You can make a chicken bomb by simply doing the following: 1. Turn off entity cramming. 2. Make a tube of blocks upwards. This is the base of the bomb. 3. Fill it up with as many chickens, creeper, cows or pigs as you like! 4.go to the top of the tube and fill it with water! As it fills up, the entities float to the top (as all creatures do) and explode in all directions. And finally, 5. Feel accomplished for the thing created and go to sleep smiling at the fact you finally did something right in you’re life.
I'd make the Redstone corridor a trap by covering the floor in hoppers and making the tunnel EXTREMELY long, with a dead end. *They will never make it out alive*
Sadly, I don't think that that would be as lethal as it looks for 2 primary reasons: 1) If a player is inside of a block they are typically forcefully ejected to the nearest air block. Since the corridor is only two wide and the pistons don't stay extended they will likely be shoved out the side of the machine (Though a sizable drop there will still accomplish the same thing, and faster at that) 2) Even if they were trapped, the hardest block which pistons can push still is breakable by pickaxe is a fair bit less time than it would take to suffocate, and most people carry a pickaxe on their hotbar at all times.
This is complicated.. Try to make a movie theater with moving blocks going around to make a movie and make some people on the seats by just using armor stands.
For that big piston clock thing, you could do a video where you set the random tic speed on the world to like 1,000,000 or something so the clock would actually work (not sure if this would work or not, otherwise you could just make a time lapse).
random tick speed would not affect it at all, but using Gnebnon's carpet mod he could do /tick warp (number) and it would essentially fart forward through those ticks.
Hoppers arent affected by randomticks. Thats a good thing. But the time it takes is calculatable! 10 hopper clocks acting like a binary counter. So the tenth bit is fired at the 512th time cuz 10000000 binary is 512. The bit shifts every time the hoppertimer goes back AND forward. So it takes twice as long since all the items need to go back and forth before it triggers the next one. Meaning it will take the hopper content twice or 5×64×2=640. A hopper takes 6 gameticks to move the item. The game runs at 20 gameticks per second. So 640×512/6*20=1092267 seconds Meaning 1 week 5 days 15 hours 24 minutes 27 seconds of playing minecraft
Olof Booij so apparently it’s .8 seconds for most hopper style Redstone clocks to move an item, which means by the time the last item is placed into the last hopper it will have been roughly 33,448 MILLENNIA That’s assuming my math is right (it may not be) But yeah, that’s a lot of time...
It would be significantly faster to wait for the piston to extend because of a glitch than to wait for that piston to extend because of the red stone connected to it. It would also be significantly faster to wait for the computer to fall apart, or the hard drive the world is stored on to become unusable.
How I make chicken nukes: Step 1: make a tall one by one tower. Step 2: break every block except the top. Step 3: put a block up three, then right 1 spaces. Step 4: spawn chickens by placing them on the side of the block, making them fall on the other block. Step 5: once you have all of the chickens spawned, break the bottom block. The chickens will fall together slowly, and when they hit the ground, they will spread all over the map.
9:48 create the most complex machine to switch on a lamp, replace the lamp with a command block with alot of falling sand commands and jump the redstone signal to the generated redstone machine.
You can make a fish cannon nowadays, also pretty funny. Just do the same block layout and place water at the bottom. Then place alot of fish and cover with a block. After that, just remove one of the sideblocks.
A redstone contraption which turns pigs into zombie pigmen ,villagers into witchs and creepers into charged creepers hit like for this edit : OMG mumbo liked this comment !!!
Very true, and setblock commands can be very useful, especially with chain, repeat, and pulse options as well as observers available on console and the cross compatibility, but at that point its not really redstone building redstone. How ever is useful in building mini games. I could see mumbo maybe making a flying machine "spawner" to deploy his fire extinguisher/griefing machine. In xombination with a structure block he could eliminate wildfires on a server, set the coordinates in the command blocks and redstone deploy. Needs a flying sponger tho lol

blade bro Not 21 years,4.38706813 x 10 to the power of 21, years. Much, much, longer than 21 years. To be exact 4387068130000000000000 years.
Oh I be dead
I feel stupid it's 1 a.m. sooo
Annoys me he only added 1 comma instead of using the much neater system of using a comma after every 3 digits. Also you could have just said 4x10^-1
Build a Redstone mansion that can go completely underground with a flick of a lever
@SonicTheRedCat He said that because buttons look cooler.
i like this idea
The idea is cool however it sound imposible to do in minecraft
It is nearly imposable to do without mod packs an with them it still will be hard
You now can do it. Just like the mansion he built that moved
“Things get a little crazy...”
**THINGS ARE GETTING A LITTLE WILD AT CAILLOU’S HOUSE**
Mumbo I think you could really make a minigame with that ticking time bomb like if you are not able to do something in time, the bomb explodes and the player dies. If you make it you survive by like getting blast protection armor to survive.
Just a cool idea i had in mind.
Sonixas he has already done it (it's called the bomb defuse minigame)
You can make a chicken bomb by simply doing the following:

Ahem... your
or a chicken bomb like he made but break the bottom block.they fall and then boom.
I'm not even lying when I say that I did that EXACT same thing during one of the first times I've played Minecraft
I'd make the Redstone corridor a trap by covering the floor in hoppers and making the tunnel EXTREMELY long, with a dead end. *They will never make it out alive*
Sadly, I don't think that that would be as lethal as it looks for 2 primary reasons:
1) If a player is inside of a block they are typically forcefully ejected to the nearest air block. Since the corridor is only two wide and the pistons don't stay extended they will likely be shoved out the side of the machine (Though a sizable drop there will still accomplish the same thing, and faster at that)
2) Even if they were trapped, the hardest block which pistons can push still is breakable by pickaxe is a fair bit less time than it would take to suffocate, and most people carry a pickaxe on their hotbar at all times.
I like the the hidden pun.
@@jmjwhite7494 the dead end
Bouncing around in chickens would be an interesting AFK machine...
The Happy Birthday song is in the public domain
In the US
Now its mine
Only in the United States
Really? Cool!
It's in the public domain in the US *and* in the EU, he can freely use it. Warner/Chapell does *not* own the song anymore.
Next time you want a Chicken Explosion, break the block *under* the Chickens, not next to them.
Mumbo ! For the last one, it was already done ! You are the redstone machine and you make redstone machines.
Hahaha XD
This is complicated..
Try to make a movie theater with moving blocks going around to make a movie and make some people on the seats by just using armor stands.
Already has been done on one of his vids I think 🙃🙂🙃🙂
@@essaalhirsh3661 yea
Build a potato doing jump rope
Yes
I could not think of anything and I was thinking about jump rope and potatoes so I wrote this down
jump rope is unhealthy for potatoes trust me im a doctor
Dr. Potato LOL
Dr. Potato and it's unhealthy for a potato to be a doctor
Don't move the chickens around and break the block underneath it. BTW, love what you do and keep doing it. It always makes me smile.
Thank you :)
Mumbo Jumbo . Can you make a dumbo that flaps it's ears. That would be hilarious.
And upload time would be fun
It takes trillions or quadillions of years
Long story short if that timer had started at the beginning of time, then it still wouldn't be finished.
So 640×512/6*20=1092267 seconds
Meaning 1 week 5 days 15 hours 24 minutes 27 seconds of playing minecraft
I was actually thinking about the universe death clock video as you told us about the single piston timer
Please please please build a giant flying spaghetti monster that can move it's spaghetti noodle tentacles around
Shane Neves why?
Jonniek 2006 why not
GD5k1 I.T true that

Haha
Mumbo Jumbo OMG! You reacted to me!
4:43 = 3,2 X 10 to the power of 22
( A lot )
Olof Booij
so apparently it’s .8 seconds for most hopper style Redstone clocks to move an item,
which means by the time the last item is placed into the last hopper it will have been roughly 33,448 MILLENNIA
That’s assuming my math is right (it may not be)
But yeah, that’s a lot of time...
i got about 285,426,784,000,000 millennia...
I say its #$*%&+@?!
yeah, a lot.
It would be significantly faster to wait for the piston to extend because of a glitch than to wait for that piston to extend because of the red stone connected to it.
It would also be significantly faster to wait for the computer to fall apart, or the hard drive the world is stored on to become unusable.
I LOVE THE TWIN ONE!
LENNY-CHU USE SEDUCTIVE STARE!
Make a sugar cane powered wither farm
tobias mj its already there
O

I have already saw ur comment
Mumbo : Oh no Hes blown His little mind !
Me : "Little mind"?
He was the twin 😀
*Self-Destruction 100*
Lol yea
If thats a small brain then... *What is my brains SIZE* *?*
😂
How I make chicken nukes: Step 1: make a tall one by one tower. Step 2: break every block except the top. Step 3: put a block up three, then right 1 spaces. Step 4: spawn chickens by placing them on the side of the block, making them fall on the other block. Step 5: once you have all of the chickens spawned, break the bottom block. The chickens will fall together slowly, and when they hit the ground, they will spread all over the map.
Build a missle that blows up a giant diorite with isskal smiling
And the ‘Stuff ‘n’ things’ sign makes a reappearance once again!
Also "Stay Outta My Swamp!"
Build yourself building yourself
9:48 create the most complex machine to switch on a lamp, replace the lamp with a command block with alot of falling sand commands and jump the redstone signal to the generated redstone machine.
You have to break the bottom for the chicken bomb
2:55 I found the source of the ticking! Its.. a dropper.
yaaayyyy!

The disney thing gave me an idea
Build something disney related taking over the world
We all know its gonna happen
what. Elsa? LOL
Make a light show from Redstone lamps!
I have tip for you :)
You can build that redstone machine that creates redstone machine with command blocks and command
/setblock
Mumbo liked that comment! Congrats!
Yeah but has Mumbo like ever used command blocks?
Drakmeir yes...
Yeah just do /setblock ~ ~ ~ Any Blocks
64^10 tranfers, someone said there was 2.5 transfers per second, so there will take 64^10/2.5 seconds
🤔my idea will took ages to extend 1 piston
About 1.190068e17 years, or 119006800000000000 years

I’m sure that was the best you could do with everything in mind, but it is still a pretty smart way to do it tho
You could make a self building flying machine
Oh my god! I got a ❤️ from Mumbo thank you!
Mumbo Jumbo can you make a GAINT working piston(just extend and the reverse, not to pust other extra blocks)
7:02 - 7:20 Oh, quit complainin’ Mumbo.
Love that "MumboJumbo meeting his twin" creation!
I was kind of hoping that the mumbo jumbo meeting his twin would shoot fire charges out of its mouth at the twin
