Read the description to learn more about High Speed practice. This type of training not only improves muscle memory, but also forces your brain to process information faster, enhancing your reaction time and focused control. The more you practice this way, the more automatic and intuitive these skills become, which also improves your overall accuracy in finger placement, string muting, and 2 hand synchronization.
I think It's a more efficient way to build speed, but if whatever you're doing now is working for you, then keep at it. I usually recommend this when yo've hit a wall and can't seem to improve anymore. with the right exercises and techniques, you can start seeing significant improvments in your speed and accuracy using this type of practice.

"The speed building method will work on any instrument, including acoustic guitar. However, this course was created with the electric guitar in mind, so a lot of the licks and sequences use higher frets that are hard to reach on acoustic guitars. In that case, just play those sections an octave lower. "

Everything absolutely true but, you can't exclude the very importat role played by your guitar itself. To reach very high speed you need the right setup on your instrument, such as low action, thin strings, a good neck for your hand, sensitive pickup and even the right pick. Fast playing needs very short and accurate movement and your picking hand can't stike hard on strings to get thoese sounds as the other hand can't afford big gaps to press the strings on the freatboard. There's way shred guitars allmost have humbuckers and good electronics.

Speed comes only when you start slowly and increase the metronome gradually by 1 BPM...you start for example tremolo picking at 40 BPM And after one week you will increase 1 BPM and go to 41...if you do this method you will have one BPM per week...4 BPM each month.....so you practice ever day the exercise you give enough time to your brain to get used to and you keep this for a year....one year has 52 weeks....so you will be around 90 or 92....next year you will be around 160...and as you continue this strategy you will reach your natural limits.... when you want to build a speed you have to start slowly and gradually you go fast...the brain progress slowly and needs it's time to process....this is the only method of you to build up your guitar techniques... unfortunately e few people like you who has a very good technique they tell lies about How they build their own technique due to of a bussines....

@@AMusicalPsychosis I'm playing guitar for 13 years and still stuck at 120ish and 135 bpm. And being a self learn guitarist it is hard for me to figure out why I can't speed up my playing but then I came across this channel and by observing the technique and teaching by roy I can see his lessons are legit and even just by watching small length of clips from him I can notice my mistake why I can't play speed. I'm definitely buying this course and you should too
