    So glad to see you back! There is definitely a need for more content about homeschooling through the middle school and high school years!

    Thanks for coming back. It’s so hard to find secular vloggers especially for older elementary.

      Yes it is. I know in theory I’m not alone, but there’s so little out there. I’m over here searching out high school info already, and the secular high school niche is almost nonexistent 😳

    Lovely seeing your beautiful face :) Thanks for rhe update. We're in similar circumstances this year. I've been too nervous to do an update because I'm not sure what I can commit to.
    Happy to hear your job and everything is going well.

    Glad to see you back! We tend to use similar curriculum so I’m always interested in your content. I’ll have an 8th grader this coming year so I’m always looking for channels with middle/high school age kids.

    New viewer here! I am really interested in what you use as a working mom for curriculum. I have not found many other homeschool RUclips moms. Please talk about the independent things you do with your children. I have an upper elementary school child (3-5) and work full time so please send help.

    Glad to see you back! Would love content on what worked and didn’t work for independent work. I work two jobs and really need help choosing something to keep my rising 8 & 6 graders on track this year.

    I'm with you regarding social media. Other than RUclips, I don't use any other. Glad you are back -- you were one of the few secular homeschool moms I found/watched before I started homeschooling.

    Happy to hear you will be posting again. I have a middle schooler and would love to hear what type of curriculum or assignment you give for writing and history. I try to combine the two when I can, but I struggle knowing if we are rigorous enough in our approach.

    • @RegularSecularMama
      @RegularSecularMama  4 месяца назад

      You would think that would be an easy combo, right? So much goes into writing instruction, it can be hard. Thanks for the input!

    I am also in the middle school and high school years. I find it’s hard to find other channels who talk or share about that. I am slowly moving my channel from only rv life to sharing more about homeschooling in the middle and high school years. I’m looking forward to hearing how you handle this stage. That’s awesome you got a house! We live in a RV and find it’s hard to homeschool when we are not at a rv park with a public space to use. We would like to get a house eventually, too.

    • @TheChan7
      @TheChan7 4 месяца назад +1

      We are fulltime RV living also. For us, even though it’s the 7 of us, it’s worked out beautifully with homeschooling. We are so more productive because of the smaller space. Haha. And I also went back to work, but part time. So fun to find similar family situations!

      Yes, the outdoor space, pool, and clubhouse saved our sanity!
