Given how they basically did Lady Loki as a multiverse variant in the Loki show and called her Sylvie, I'd be willing to bet THIS version of Cassandra Nova is actually a multiverse variant of Professor X. Even for this movie, trying to do the full backstory of comic Cassandra Nova.
@@literaltruth that's always a possibility. Establishing her full back story would be a headache for the MCU and making her a variant would flow easily.

She's not a variant of Xavier. Her name is Cassandra Nova... Xavier's parasitic twin in the comics and also the villain in X-men's Dark Phoenix movie.
