Just practice. When I was younger I just tried my hardest to sound like all my favorite singers. Axl Rose has gravel in his voice even thugh he sings higher, and I grew up loving GNR. That helped I'm sure lol. Just keep practicing, it takes a bit, but you get used to it.

If you're trying to sing like Adam the only pointer I can give you that you don't already know is: don't use your nose when you sing. Adam gives all of his voice through his chest and through his throat. Other than that then singing and the guitar is REALLY good. Loved this cover man

You'll get there. If you love singing, just keep challenging yourself. Don't over-do it, but try to push your limits and you'll keep improving. I've been singing since before I could walk, and didn't get into rock until I was 13 or so (Was a fan but didn't sing it lol)
