  • Today I will show you my way of starting my own green water from scratch.
A small content video before my school reopens back, then I won't be publishing video as often. Little spoiler I will be re-scaping the no filter tank in this video for the next update video. So don't forget to subscribe if you want to see it

Love this video! So simple. Just shows scale is unimportant. You can keep green water and daphnia in just a few cups in your home. You can achieve exactly what a fish farmer achieves on his farm but on a scale perfect for the window sill. So delicate, so charming. Thank you.

I m curious since you like things simple and stuff, have you tried sustaining a chlorella culture with just your normal water and the micro fauna, and 1 small branch of light wood, so basically wood that doesn't take decades to decompose and isnt toxic for your purpose since I feel like chlorella is just a sponge that will accept any nutrient, good or bad. I can't wait to try but I m waiting for a culture since I don't want any algae to make the green water.

I knew this guy is a Malaysian by seeing the yellow water bottle itself 🤣

Thank you. I don't know if this helped me..I am a beginner and slow to understand everything involved, although I do have a good daphnia culture already...just wanting to learn a lot more about everything. However I enjoyed your gentle , easy and clear talk and filming very much and I hope your school work doesn't take all your time :)

I thought it would be placed in direct sunlight. That will make it grow even faster

I've read that Chlorella prefers indirect sunlight.

it depends on where you are from, because I live in a tropical country, direct sunlight would bring up the temperature too high
