I’m right there with you on the inaccurate results and inaccurate time for the wave 2 racers. I would have been third in my age group had they deducted the five minutes I waited to start in wave two. I reached out and got nowhere. It affects me in the gravel race series too. Thanks for the video! I found me at about 18 minutes - we rode together quite a while. I’m in black with red sleeves.
I remember trying to hang with you! I had also reached out to them and got nowhere, until this morning. I just got an email saying that they are going to update the times for wave 2 riders. I guess enough people must've complained.
It's good they decided to correct the times to match how EVERY other race in the MGRS times their waves! What video setup do you use for your races? Your video seemed to survive mud coverage better than any other I've watched!
Haha well my rear camera was pretty muddy by the end. I don't do anything special though to prevent the cameras from getting muddy. I have a couple of k-edge mounts, one attached to the saddle, and the other holds both my Garmin and GoPro out front. I occasionally wiped the front camera with my hand though.
