I have a son. Before he was born I discussed not having him circumcised. My wife said no way. She wants him to have an aesthetically pleasing penis like mine. So he was circumcised like I was. A botched circumcision can ruin your child’s sex life before it even starts. The actual process doesn’t seem to have any actual benefit but it has several downsides.
I genuinely cannot understand how someone could do that to their child for the appearance alone.
If an adult wants/needs to get it done that’s fine but parents making the decision over how it looks is where I draw the line.
That’s not to shittalk your partner, I just genuinely cannot understand why.
I had a botched circumcision at birth and ended up having to have a second circumcision at 5 years old and I remember the entire thing! Not to mention the weeks following where I was 5 years old having to wear a diaper and having a mutilated dick. Honestly I’d never have it done to a child.
