I have one posted, its called gasifier progress update #2, it shows the location, its also talked about in the video, how i built my gasifier #1, my ignition port is located an inch and a half above the shaker grate,.....josh
I found it... Thanks. I priced threaded black pipe... OUCH! Was hoping to be able to use some straight non-threaded exhaust pipe for starting port, but wondering how I would cap it. I was thinking about using a cap w/ a gasket and some springs to hold it right. But the ease of a threaded cap may yield more fav results. What I really want to find is some 2" diameter pipe to get syngas from rear of vehicle to up front. Stainless 2" flex pipe is almost 200 bucks. :( Ideas?
Hey brother... Do you mind posting a vid about your ignition port? Where did you put it in the chamber? How far above the heath does it enter? Right at char/fuel line??? Or higher?
I wonder how many people told the wright brothers they were wasting time? I bet alot...worked out ok for them, people are quick to judge based on failures of others or thier own, edison once said he found 1000 ways to unsuccessfully make a lightbulb, but it only took one right combination to make it work, just because yourself or others couldnt make it work doesnt mean its not possible,...thanks for the inspiration to prove you and other nay sayers wrong,....josh
Run like hell!!! Just kidding, i just shut off the ball valve under the fan and it snuffs itself out, its not instant but thats how i do it, choke off its supply of oxygen and it smothers out
All good information! A lot too long to explain the process but still good info. Video eight...maybe you can condense videos 1-7 into a single 10-15 minute video?
