Qualified immunity means if you sue a police officer and they are found to be in violation of the us constitution, they can be individually sued. Everybody needs to start video recording in public as often as possible until the "you need my permission" mentality disappears. It's really pathetic. I was very blessed to grow up during the bicentennial of our country. And in a suburb of Washington DC so I had a huge dose of patriotism and our national history. Growing up in that taught me so much about the Constitution Amendments and Bill of Rights. It also gave me a deep love and respect for our country. My family came to the new world in 1624. We were Patriots in all wars. All Americans should learn American history and basic laws.
I freely admit that I knew very little about what our civil rights were here in America until I started watching these kind of videos and I'm 65. We were never taught them in school or maybe I was sleeping in Government class but either way, I was ignorant of them until just a few short years ago. By the looks of all the videos the vast majority are in the same boat.
