I blame C. H. Greenblatt for that one. I prefer the flesh & blood cats, not poor Chuck E. Cheese knockoffs. It made as much sense as making The Banana Splits slasher/killers.
@@robertorick6383Actually, Tartakovsky did the same first with several other H-B characters back in 94 in an episode of Dexter’s Laboratory. Also, Jellystone! version are animatronics, Ruff and Reddy are the robots.
@@OM19_MO79 Whether or not The Cats were drawn as animatronics as a joke, it still was just weird instead of funny, while the Splits as slashers were freightening instead of funny. I prefer the original Cattanooga Cats and the original Banana Splits. As for robotic Ruff & Reddy, let's just say that Greenblatt was best when he did "Chowder, "Harvey Beaks", and the handful of "Spongebob Squarepants" episodes he wrote. Ruff & Reddy as robots also sounds uneasy. It seems that re-booting beloved cartoon characters don't always work. The cats still look like Chuck E. Cheese rejects on "Jellystone." I must check out the Gennedy Tartakovsky episode of "Dexter's Laboratory" as robots for H-B characters. Maybe Tartakovsky did it better than Greenblatt. For instance, Kitty Jo looks perfectly beautiful go-go dancing as a real cartoon cat. As an animatronic, she moves stiffly just like the other three cats. I'm just picky, I guess.
Plot twist: "The Banana Splits Horror Movie, The Jellystone Versions of The Banana Splits, And the Jellystone versions Of The Cattanooga Cats are both created and written by Rita Skeeter And Dolores Umbridge From Harry Potter and Cgi Norman Price from Cgi Fireman Sam"
The Cattanooga Cats: *Exists* Warner Bros: Operation "Make the Cattanooga Cats killer animatronics in Jellystone" is a go! Country: DAMN IT WARNER BROS!!
I remember this cartoon when I was younger a long time ago
i miss that show
Me too
Those Cats are robots now

The script would now be written by CatGPT
