- Startup Company is a fantastic game dev tycoon game / web dev tycoon game where you get to manage and expand your own startup company and develop the worlds next hit start-up website ideas! Now there is a correct way to play a software and development company simulation and release your very own websites and compete against other companies. We however have the advantage of the infinite money glitch to give us a bit of a big advantage. So today The Spiffing Brit will be discovering if Startup Company is a perfectly balanced game or if the Scamming only challenge which causes an infinite money glitch is overpowered. I'm not fully convinced that he hadn't just shot the photos himself, just to save the trouble of removing the stock design
Considering stock photos are very cheap (a few cents really), I wouldn't be surprised if he bought the rights to the non watermark version and then added his own
I'm guessing he buys the photos (to avoid any legal issues) and then adds his watermark on them for the stolen stock photo aesthetic.

No no, it's megaseconds. The response time isn't 2 seconds, it's 2¹⁰ seconds because the server is running off a dial-up connection.

In fairness, he is essentially just generating userbases, and selling THOSE to a company that wants those users with a website that is at least good enough to keep people around (likely an internet forum set up in anticipation of whatever the buying company will end up actually making).

Except it actually is showing progress. That doesn't mean that I recommend buying it, I definitely don't, at least not yet and I find the way how it is financed quite silly tbh and it looks as if it's pretty close to a scam, but nevertheless it looks quite impressive. However you also need quite a rig for it.
Personally I think that it became too big though. I mean the distances and size are comparable to real solar systems, which imo isn't beneficial. While real life sized planets are pretty cool I'd rather prefer a bit smaller more dense worlds.
And some money was also used in quite wasteful ways.
My brother (who has a sufficient rig) showed me some of it and while it's pretty cool I don't like its direction.
