The note 10 plus comes with some good wired earbuds with a USB C male on the other end. And it's wireless charge in case you wanna listen to music while charging. Now unless you don't like Bluetooth or you already have a set of headphones that is not USB C, I don't see the problem. I'd say, step into the future.

I also work at a hospital and I know that bluetooth is definitely not healthy and nobody should be using bluetooth headphones.
I was also very disappointed to find out there was no headphone jack. While I do have bluetooth headphones I often take long flights and bluetooth headphones never last longer than my flights so I need a good old fashioned jack.

I got my Note 9 in September 2019 and it got updates Android 9 and 10 in 2020. So far the Note 9 is a solid device and I do not need to upgrade anytime soon.
Already preordered the 10+, currently have note 9, the upgrades are worth it for me . Plus with Samsungs amazing preorder offers. including giving $600 credit for my Note 9, and free galaxy buds and other accessories. I'm getting the 10+ for less than $475 total. Which is a ridiculously good deal.

I have 2 Note 10 pluses good phones non the less. But I'm switching back to the Note 9. I just scored a sweet deal on a Note 9 with 512 gb of internal storage for 200 bucks. I gotta have that extra storage, no cut-out punch hole on the screen and the headphone jack.

I agree on that.. my note 9 and note 10 specs are quite the same...only some tweaks on the note 10 here and there....so I'll wait for the note 12 or 13.
So buying note 10/10+ will make you lose the following: 1- the perfect full screen because of the front camera hole. 2- the heart beat sensor (a very big retro move instead of improving this feature more like measuring blood pressure or blood sugar, they just canceled it and this is so disappointing) 3- iris scanner which was convenient to many people. 4- head phone jack (Samsung should place wireless headphones instead of wired ones which has a type C connection, so you can't use them while charging and you have to buy a wireless headphones instead). 5- dropping down the notification bar and navigate through gallery just by swiping the fingerprint sensor. 6- notification light which could have been placed around the front camera or around the front ear speaker. This is a game, it has always been. You Never get a full device or the perfect one. They have to put some ups and downs. They always do.
I agree. Mostly with the loss of the headphone jack where I could choose what was comfortable. This was what separated Samsung from Apple, but they keep following them down the hill...

Me too. I also don't want to lose my heart rate sensor, I have a lifetime Welltory premium that is using it for measurements. I also have the Gear VR and Note 10 doesn't even support it.
@@DrReal6969 my Note 9's warranty was over and the softwear started having glitches and issues. I was so upset when I was told it wouldn't be fixed because of the warranty issue. I have upgraded to a Note 10. I wouldn't have if I didn't need to, but I couldn't be without a phone. I'm overall happy once again.
I'm holding on to my Note 9 for the next 5 years. Technological improvements are at such little increments these days that it just isn't worth upgrading every year or ever 2 years.

The Note 10/10+: - Removes the headphone jack. - Puts a hole in the middle of the screen. - Makes the fingerprint scanner less reliable and slower. - Removes the heart rate sensor. - Removes the Bixby button which could be programmed for other handy thing as well. And they call this an upgrade and think we should pay more for it? They must think we're dumb! I'm tired of Samsung removing features and calling it an upgrade! I'd still like to get back my removable battery and the IR remote blaster so i can control my TVs, like they had on the Note 4. But I absolutely draw the line at the headphone jack! I won't buy another Android device without a headphone jack. Amazing that Samsung has the fingerprint-in-display tech already & screen recording! Just another reason why im happy i left apple products: 1) they removed fingerprint from iphone and only allow pin code or face id now... what?? no thanks. 2) still no tiny pen for any iphones. Seriously that giant apple pencil is a joke. 3) apple hasnt changed the shape of their phone, the 11 looks like the 6, just a larger display. 4) they still cant get their camera to work properly at night to get better quality photos. You have to hold down the button for 3 secs in order to do so! Lol. 5) still NO SPLIT screen view apple! How hard is it!!! Give people more options rather than taking them away apple. Note 9 much better bang for your buck. Both vers. of Note 10 remind me of Note 5, when they removed sd card & non-removable battery for the first time. Didn't do too well with the public.

Things you get with Note 9 that are missing in Note 10: 1-A headphone jack 2-Iris scanner (more secure than just a single camera) 3-A PHYSICAL fingerprint scanner which is waaaaaay faster and more accurate than this undercooked underscreen crap 4-Some bezels (trust me on this one. At least you’ll avoid accidental touches and covering video content with your OWN hands while holding it) 5-heart rate and SpO2 sensors (those are minimal but they’re there) 6-you can get as cheap as $450 on eBay

As an average Joe. Coming from a s8+which has been a great phone. The note 10+ is a massive upgrade. Biggest things I like after my hands on experience is the obvious larger screen. Doesn't have wasted space anywhere on the face(no bars top and bottom) the 45watt charger is huge for me. Nice for doing quick top offs. The s9+ battery has been great but there's times where I get a low battery and want to just top it off quick it's just not quick enough sometimes when I'm on the go. That 45 watt is light-years ahead of what I've got now and even the s10/note9. The double ram 256 gb and alot of the other features really don't affect me much cause I delete the bloat apps and maybe have 15 of my own apps so 256gb is 5x what I even need. All the camera features adn upgrades from my s9+ to the note 10+ is really gonna be a nice upgrade. I live they went back to their roots of the note having the biggest screen in the line up. The pen isn't just a gimmick anymore like it was on my note 2. Although I did find my self using the pen them just to draw shit on people's faces. People want to compare specs of their flagship phones s10+ or note 9 but they don't wanna compare specs to the note flagship phone the note 10+. They actually are so mad they act like it doesn't even exist and when you show them all the specs are upgraded. Some being vastly upgraded over the note 9 they curl up in the fetal position (but it doesn't ha e a headphone jack 😭) yes I've seen people online that are so delusional and think the note 10+ is not an upgrade whatsoever from the note 9 and they are equals. Idunno. I don't mind them. And they have adapters that have both USB-C and 3.5mm inputs that branch off of the USB-C input on the phone so you can listen and charge. Idunno. This is just me.
Stop complaining about the headphone Jack, you get better battery with note 10 plus and you get android 10 and android 11 soon. Also you get a faster charger, better processor and screen. And the camera cutout isnt that bad. I am used to it. You can also hide it. The note 10 plus has more features and improved s pen. And it has better internet. i am not forcing you to switch. My current note 9 plan is $124 per month. A new note 10+ is $97 but you have to pay $150 upfront to change plan and hand in your old phone. Would you guys upgrade?
@@deano1000no you're lucky. In the country where I live. We have to buy our phones. Their plans are overly expensive. And a phone costs way to much. In fact some places are still selling the S9+ for $1000 us, or close to that price.
I'm keeping my Note 9. Love it too much. A no punch hole uninterrupted screen and headphone jack means more to me than those extra features in Note 10 plus. I gotta keep the iris scanner, led notification, heart rate sensors and more accurate fingerprint sensor. NOTE 9 is the true no compromise phone with versatility. It doesn't compromise on the screen with punch hole and use a dongle for wired earphones .
I was with Apple since the very first phone very year I'd get a new Apple phone. My last apple phone was the x.. Because I hated the notch and the lack of not having a head phone Jack. So I went to note 9 do not regret it at all. The fact that the note 10 has the camera on the screen is just the same as having the notch anything on screen is annoying because as I'm trying to watch something I focus on that an the note10 does not have a headphone jack huge turn off. Gonna remain with the note 9 as long as I can. 1 year in with the note 9 an just the best phone ever. Perfect in every way I do miss siri because bixby is dumb. But that is the only thing. Solid decent stable beautiful phone. Note9 ❤

For making the new note line up more reasonable to upgrade and superior from the note 9. Samsung had come up with note 10, so people while more likely think the note 10 plus is more better than note 9 and more reasonable to upgrade from the note 9. Note 10 born just to be comparing tools for consumer either hold on note 9 or more spending on note 10 plus. So the note 10 just the marketing tactics to making consumer more reasonable to grab the note 10 plus. Also Samsung want step up their game in the pricing strategy by making note 10 plus more superior and more expensive, because we all know the price drop on samsung device aren't like apple. In every video about Note10 reviewers says: now you can connect usb-c to HDMI to use DEX. I'm able to use usb-c to HDMI adapter not only on my Note 8, but even on standard S8! What I'm doing wrong here?

Staying with note 9 for sure I got the better version 9 with the 8 GB ram and 512 storage. Headphone jack blows it for me. They're pretty much sell you the same phone with less features.
I have 1UI on my Note 9 and it's also available in a 5g variant. As long ad my Note 9 is functioning, I can wait until the Note lineup goes completely bezelless.

Another important feature, at least for me, that is missing on the Note 10+ -- the heart rate sensor. I use it regularly on my Note 9 and its absence on the 10+ is perplexing.

@@DrReal6969 my Note 9's warranty was over and the softwear started having glitches and issues. I was so upset when I was told it wouldn't be fixed because of the warranty issue. I have upgraded to a Note 10. I wouldn't have if I didn't need to, but I couldn't be without a phone. I'm overall happy once again.

The biggest upgrade is the UFS 3.0 storage, which is literally twice as fast. Other than that, it is just minor upgrades

The Note 10/10+:
- Removes the headphone jack.
- Puts a hole in the middle of the screen.
- Makes the fingerprint scanner less reliable and slower.
- Removes the heart rate sensor.
- Removes the Bixby button which could be programmed for other handy thing as well.
And they call this an upgrade and think we should pay more for it? They must think we're dumb!
I'm tired of Samsung removing features and calling it an upgrade! I'd still like to get back my removable battery and the IR remote blaster so i can control my TVs, like they had on the Note 4.
But I absolutely draw the line at the headphone jack! I won't buy another Android device without a headphone jack. Bluetooth headphones are inferior sound quality because codecs are not lossless, and they also add audio latency and need charging all the time.
It seems that Samsung is intentionally giving up the hardware advantages it had, just to copy Apple. At this point I might as well go buy an Apple device, and I very well may for my next device. For now holding on to my Note 9!

1) they removed fingerprint from iphone and only allow pin code or face id now... what?? no thanks.
2) still no tiny pen for any iphones. Seriously that giant apple pencil is a joke.
3) apple hasnt changed the shape of their phone, the 11 looks like the 6, just a larger display.
4) they still cant get their camera to work properly at night to get better quality photos. You have to hold down the button for 3 secs in order to do so! Lol.

Things you get with Note 9 that are missing in Note 10:
1-A headphone jack
2-Iris scanner (more secure than just a single camera)
3-A PHYSICAL fingerprint scanner which is waaaaaay faster and more accurate than this undercooked underscreen crap
4-Some bezels (trust me on this one. At least you’ll avoid accidental touches and covering video content with your OWN hands while holding it)
5-heart rate and SpO2 sensors (those are minimal but they’re there)
6-you can get as cheap as $450 on eBay

As an average Joe. Coming from a s8+which has been a great phone. The note 10+ is a massive upgrade. Biggest things I like after my hands on experience is the obvious larger screen. Doesn't have wasted space anywhere on the face(no bars top and bottom) the 45watt charger is huge for me. Nice for doing quick top offs. The s9+ battery has been great but there's times where I get a low battery and want to just top it off quick it's just not quick enough sometimes when I'm on the go. That 45 watt is light-years ahead of what I've got now and even the s10/note9. The double ram 256 gb and alot of the other features really don't affect me much cause I delete the bloat apps and maybe have 15 of my own apps so 256gb is 5x what I even need. All the camera features adn upgrades from my s9+ to the note 10+ is really gonna be a nice upgrade. I live they went back to their roots of the note having the biggest screen in the line up. The pen isn't just a gimmick anymore like it was on my note 2. Although I did find my self using the pen them just to draw shit on people's faces. People want to compare specs of their flagship phones s10+ or note 9 but they don't wanna compare specs to the note flagship phone the note 10+. They actually are so mad they act like it doesn't even exist and when you show them all the specs are upgraded. Some being vastly upgraded over the note 9 they curl up in the fetal position (but it doesn't ha e a headphone jack 😭) yes I've seen people online that are so delusional and think the note 10+ is not an upgrade whatsoever from the note 9 and they are equals. I'm keeping my Note 9. Love it too much. A no punch hole uninterrupted screen and headphone jack means more to me than those extra features in Note 10 plus. I gotta keep the iris scanner, led notification, heart rate sensors and more accurate fingerprint sensor. NOTE 9 is the true no compromise phone with versatility. It doesn't compromise on the screen with punch hole and use a dongle for wired earphones .
Ill be getting the 9. That headphone jack is so nice to have when my bt headphones are dead and for using a square reader.

I was with Apple since the very first phone very year I'd get a new Apple phone. My last apple phone was the x.. Because I hated the notch and the lack of not having a head phone Jack. So I went to note 9 do not regret it at all. The fact that the note 10 has the camera on the screen is just the same as having the notch anything on screen is annoying because as I'm trying to watch something I focus on that an the note10 does not have a headphone jack huge turn off. Gonna remain with the note 9 as long as I can. 1 year in with the note 9 an just the best phone ever. Perfect in every way I do miss siri because bixby is dumb. But that is the only thing. Solid decent stable beautiful phone. Note9 ❤
