I have few questions App is connected to cameras or nvr? Suppose nvr is hikvision and cameras are tplink which app should i use to connect to recordings? Hikvision or tplink which is best?
@JJ.A.C-TECH. is it possible to configure on two brands? Nvr one brand and camera different brand? Tplink is better than hikvision since tplink is way cheaper than hikvision
Yes And No Yes, you can still use if LAN configuration is possible Example: Point-to-Point Network Wired Network No, you can't use if the cameras are so far and LAN configuration is not possible. Example: Cameras are placed on different continents or countries.
@@JJ.A.C-TECH. What if I would like to use Wifi cameras with ONVIF (eg. VIGI C540-W)? Do I need PoE in such case? I prefer to use Wifi and repeaters with EasyMesh over placing 100m of Cat5 cable.
You will need PoE for powering the cameras; otherwise, use the 12 volt DC coaxial if supported. PoE can support data and power. but in your case, you will use PoE for power only.
because PoE means, Power over Ethernet. So the ethernet cable can also power "ON" the camera which saves the hassle of having wiring for electrical power.
Imou or Dahua cameras need to be connected to the POE switch? Are they not ONVIF ready? Can you directly connect them through wifi?
Imou and Dahua are ONVIF ready cameras. You can connect them directly through wifi or LAN.

can I use this for my existing tapo wifi cameras so I can View 24/7?
Yes, it's compatible with Tapo cameras.
Why do we need to have PoE switch for WiFi camere setup?
Use PoE if your WiFi camera has LAN ports that support wired setup.

Hi, is PoE switch compulsory for this NVR when using with Tapo Wifi Cameras or can I directly connect this NVR with Router?
You need a separate POE switch for the cameras.
because the NVR has only 1 Ethernet port.
Is the NVR compatible with Google Home?
no
Is this compatible with any other wifi cctv camera? Such as philips or hikvision etc
Check your camera to see if it's ONVIF-supported. If it's ONVIF-supported, then yes, it's compatible.
Can I still setup vigi cctv without internet connection?
yes
Tapo wifi connect with NVR
