The show focused on the characters which were comprised of football team members and non football team members and cheerleaders and non cheerleaders. The movie had no such dynamic all the boys were essentially in a gang, hence they all had matching jackets and the girls had no specific club they were apart of. Then there's the issue of choreography the show lends itself to a more natural background with normal activities taking place and only the foreground characters choreographed because they are the Glee club, whilst the movie is choreographed for the show of it all. Considering the most likely people to find your video will be the fans of Glee, I don't expect it will do very well among that fanbase. It's like crtitquing Beyonce... you'll just get stung by the beyhive, in this case, the Gleehive. I do however agree with the on screen Sugar Motta comment, she shouldn't have been able to sing any part of that song due to her characters notorious inability to hold a tune. She was shit shit shit (sorry Asperger's)
But they made it work for the people that weren’t on the teams. Like the one dude that’s wearing just some random red jacket. Or Rachel who just had the coat. They tried for some of it - didn’t for the rest. And yeah, you’re probably right about the choreo but it’s still such a shame.

I have watched the show since, lol. Still resent the gray coat and the mismatched green screen at the end but… it’s fine, it’s a glee number
