One time I met you at a rave that I went to because my friends asked me to go with them even though I'm not really into rave culture. Is nobody going to talk about how well the 1997 and 2016 - 2017 visuals were meshed together here? It's glorious and actually makes the newer version of the berserk anime look like a good watch. That's something it couldn't achieve on it's own afterall.
Both have their silly moments.
It wasnt the 2016 anime, it is the golden age arc trilogy movies

-There's a manga that's really far along
-There's a 1997 anime adaptation of the first couple story arcs.
-3 movies that were made in 2016 which cover the same parts the 1997 anime did.
-Then there was the 2017 anime that a lot of people hated because of all the CGI and the infamous "clang" that you hear in this song.
Berserk is my fav. If you gonna check it out watch old 1997 anime you should try to watch until 1x100 army scene then decide if you like it.
@@ClicClikBang I should add that its not CGI specifically, its horrifically horrible CGI and animation. Final Fantasy Spirits Within, released in 2006, looks so much better than new Berserk series. Also in some scenes they didn't even bother animating, so the characters move like they are in South Park.

Kentaro Miura, creator of Berserk, has passed away at the age of 54.
Personally, one of the craziest and coolest things I have ever read in my life and that has impacted me the most.
Leaving its mark even in worlds like Dark Souls and Bloodborne games that I also follow and fascinate me.
I still remember how a friend at school introduced me to this manga and he lent me volume by volume and we talked ecstatically every time he finished them.
A work that, although it remains without an end as it should, is not necessary because of the mark it has left on those of us who were able to enjoy its great history.
Rest in peace.
I like how we can see guts and casca genuinely have happiness in the final volume though

Just watched this anime after the release of this song and I’ll say it’s not for the faint of heart. Also now that I know the meaning and significants of the screams the song certainly has more impact.

@@ElWeebDelBarri that’s battle beast lol, but the same guy, Anton Kabanen , did songwriting till he went to start Beast in Black. “Kingdom” is my favorite from that era. If you haven’t heard them yet, “Zodd the immortal” and “Fifth angel” aren’t even songs inspired by Berserk, they are just nakedly songs about it.

This made me curious for the anime so I watched the first season today. It was a complete day full of fascination for what I watched. Then 15 minutes ago I started watching season 2 and saw lolis. So yeah it's a shame they only made 1 season of Berserk and left it in a cliff hanger but it may be the most beautiful anime I've seen.
Never too late to watch something. There’s a lot of really old anime that doesn’t get enough love now that anime is becoming more mainstream.
