  • On this week journey we continued making our way north through the Plumas National Forest, however due fire damage I was pushed out or as I call it burnt out as there were no safe options to camp. I got so close to an absolutely epic camp but feel short.

    Great video! Its still very beautiful up there. It's mostly burned over such a vast area but at least the Djxie fire left a lot of green patches in most of it's path, unlike the smaller but much more destructive fire in the west central part of the Plumas in 21.

      Yeah I was very surprised by how much green was starting to come back already also. Very beautiful area. I plan to return sometime in 2025 to explore a little deeper into the area. Lots of very cool little towns headed up into this area also.
