Ok so huge appreciation to Mrkrabs for beating the tar out of this guy and uploading it for the people who won't make it that far to enjoy, and for the few who can make it that far to see a good strategy. So I'm going to piggyback off them a bit and write out a written guide for what is seen/unseen in the video. PRE-FIGHT: AXE: You can clean him off if you want, it supposedly makes him more aggressive because he'll be your damage dealer. Equip blue shield and power charge For skills, get skills that boost crit damage and maybe one that decreases ability recharge time BEAST: Equip howl, other does not matter skills don't matter either ARROW: Equip slow shot and hit rush skills don't matter ARM and SWORD: You won't use these guys PRE-CUTSCENE: Equip AXE legion. (I like to drink the resonance booster so I have a last ditch fusion attempt) But also equip spicy cobra and your baton in Gladius mode. FIGHT TIME BUB: Use blue shield with AXE and hop on BEAST. Move in and once an opening is present, either after ice or vacuum attack, jump off and howl. Run around behind him during the howl and then use ARROW's slow shot, hit rush. Drink your spicy cobra. Now equip your AXE legion and use its power charge. Here's the tricky part. Hopefully you're behind him. Spin your left stick 360 then ZR for a spinning attack. Hit your sync attack to have your AXE legion spin attack. Once you can move again, roll towards his back, and while rolling flick the left stick back then forward then ZL to have your AXE uppercut for an extra hit. SLIGHTLY OVER HALF HEALTH: Once he drops below half he will enter a rage mode, so you want to keep him stunned long enough to delay that. Before he hits halfway, start over from the howl, follow by ARROW legion slow shot and hit rush. Drink your last spicy cobra and use AXE legion's power charge, and start wrecking him with the AXE legion again. If he breaks your combo but has about an eighth or so health, you can still win. He'll go rage mode. Here I suggest another slow shot and blue shield. Then try to last as long as you can dealing damage with your AXE legion. Once he's low enough the fusion should finish him off. PICTURE TIME: If you don't want to worry about taking the photo during the fight. You can start the case, take a photo, then quit and save at command, and he should be in the database.
I did it! I beat Aether! I used the same strategy here and only changed one thing to fit with my playstyle and I won! Did it under 3 minutes hehe Thanks for uploading this :D
Armando Moncada You gotta run around with the beast legion until he uses the ice attack, through out the beast legion and roar so that the second he lands you can stun him and keep up the combo
Jesus you have taken him down so fast without giving a chance to go berserker. I just defeated it yesterday but i used beast a lot but i was using crash bombs
Bro the easiest boss ever, can't believe it. It took 3 days to finish off all Olive Missions, for this? For real? Anyway great game, almost 100% complete. 😁
Not sure how the stunlock works but I think it only works after a certain amount of hits. As for the critical hits its random it's just when you land a critical hit you do a lot more damage on a critical hit.
@@Krabs_dff Stunlock is after you deal a certain amount of damage. Critical hits from behind are +25% bonus, critical hits from headshots are +25% bonus, random crits are +100% bonus (but are a lot rarer as they are basically 0% chance without drink or crit rate up ability). All three can stack together, and the total is affected by critical damage up.
dude that's insane. Is that just rotating stick? It looks different and it's not on te skill tree. what move are u using with the axe legion or how do u perform it?
@@nevnad4587 it's probably not listed since it's a sync move. After Gladius 360 spin, you will have sync opportunity; when activated he will spin around twice.
Spin Attack- 360 motion+ZL, Launcher- Back then Forward+ZL, Crash Bomb Combo- Back then Forward+ZL (when enemy is stunned), After 360 spin with Gladius weapon, Sync attack with axe legion to throw him in circles.
All of my praise. All of my thanks. All of my gratitude. Without this strategy Idk how I would've beat this fucking stupid bullshit boss. Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
All that for an empty can?! So you fought a Chimera that is the equivalent of a GOD and what you get is an empty goddamn can?! WHAT THE FU- oh wait this is replayed? Still!
@Hải Sơn Nguyễn Not quite - R1 is casual, R2 is standard, R3 is ult. That means R1 enemies attack less, deal half damage, and have 75% HP. R2 has normal hp, normal dmg, and normal attack rates. R3 has normal hp, 400% damage, and are very aggressive. AED batteries also vary.
@@Abarax thanks I noticed that on some missions same anemies were stronger, also I think that on R3 (and Probably R2) if they hit your legion you'll take some damage (they can't kill You this way though) or is always like this?
@@armandomoncada9551 Legion damage transfers partly to you on R3 (which is PT ULT) - thats the only use of the Defense stat that the legion has. Should not happen on R2 cases.
Aether: I fear no man.
But that thing... (points at Mrkrabs)
...it scares me.

Lol, out of all the rewards the second time around they made it empty can
I clicked this thinking it was a joke and I'm so glad it wasn't
I would never post a fake video. Glad you watched it.
holy shit !!!! That was incredible, impressive and impeccable!
When you beat the final boss so quick that the vocals to the opening barely start
It sucks because I love the main theme vocals.
Thank you all for the comments! I don't know when I'm coming back to this game because I have some unfinished business, but keep a look out soon guys.

FINALLY!!!! I did it by following your video!!!!!! Oh yeah baby!!!!!!!
I...just...amazing! all of this!
That is sweet! Great job.
This video should be called "Cooking Aether" you will need a fresh Aether, some Spicy Cobra and a fricking blender.
Damn, you cheese it so hard, Aether almost forgot going sicko mode
Aether bringing a lot of ibuprofen to tackle the dizziness next time it comes back
I suddenly feel like playing that game again.
OP strat!
This is insane... what ability codes do you have on the legions? I’ve been losing a lot and I’m starting to go mad
I just unlocked this and I'm having sooooo much fun getting killed over and over, when I got to the second phase I didn't last more than 10 secs
