- Scientific principles plumbing exam / tests are all about the sicance side of plumbingf for instance how much does water expand when frosen or how to work out the dencity of an object ect. This plumbing exam will test you on your knowledge of scientific principles, your understanding of the way water works and scientific calculations.
In this unit you will explore the scientific principles within plumbing giving you the knowledge about the properties of materials and water. Giving you an understanding of how water and the earth is an important part of plumbing and how it relates to you, this unit is said to be to most complex with scientific calculations to be learnt

Need help on this exam any advice
Hi Jackie B I think you find there are 2 questions on SI units 1 the SI unit of electrical current which is amps and 2 the SI unit of electrical resistance which is ohms. (Spelt with a s not a Z )
practice plumbing exams wasn’t expecting a reply lol and any tips on this Plumbing science exam would be a great help I have failed once and do not want to fail it again

Dabasaurus Kex my friend I have no sorted the problem, I have what I needed which was the book, the app, a reader and past papers and work rate, my learning difficulties needed supporting and now I have since pass 5 exams 4 too go

Reviseweb.com has hundreds of questions and answers, costs about £15 for a 1 year licence to access them. Well worth it

@@jamie3566 although having just finished my exams today, I'd say to read (and understand) the nvq plumbing book 6035, this will help hugely with the exams, combine that with the test questions on that website and you should do fine. The exam questions on their own will only get you so far, understanding the topics by reading the book will obviously give you a good understanding of the whole thing, rather than just doing questions to pass an exam (and not a massive amount of these test questions actually came up, maybe about 25%)
