Nice to have such a down to earth guy spending time doing videos of interest, with the attitude of what you see is what you get !! The real people on this planet get these posts with the added humour thrown in ,👍👍 !!! Really interesting bringing these machines back to life , if they were from China there would be no chance !!!!! Keep the posts coming, thanks kubotaman 👍
Well that little JD engine was a sweet runner you will need a serious supply of CRC and a 10lb hammer to sort out the controls, good luck I know you're a smart cookie? Good luck from NZ
I used to work for a company that made the John deere fuel pumps absolutely loved that job I had to test and set the pump for the customer once it had come off the production line... brilliant work mate!
Being a spiritual person and a fixer myself, I watch your videos when I need a good sermon and a lesson on how to fix something. I especially liked your 2 sermons on pressure washing and using starting fluid. I enjoy your attitude about life. A fan in Virginia.
Amen. Since I'm from Virginia, I only speak American so I had to depend on Google to help me translate into English what I wanted to say. I didn't want to come off as a bit cheeky, what? I'll be 70 in June and hard working folks such as yourself have saved me thousands of dollars in repair bills by being willing to share what they know. Cheerio, and keep preaching and fixing, what?
The look of suprise on your face when it fired 😂 worst motor is a discovery 3 07 plate. Cam belt tensioner boss snapped off the oil pump as they do. 6k to put right. Couldn't even have a go myself as I didn't have access to a lift to take the body off 😣 then about a year later started cutting out with every light coming up on the dash. Traded it in for a Merc c350. There's a propper V6 diesel 😍 Run that and an old transit for the same cost as the disco a year.
Having grown up and spent most of my earlier life on farms, driving/using all manner of tractors and machinery these videos are so refreshing to watch. Especially as I have sadly no longer any connection with my farming past watching them takes me right back- and so thank you.
Great vid as always , I drove one of them fucks of yokes years ago , in silage trailers , that front wheel assist on them JD’s was guaranteed to get you stuck ,
Love the information you put in your video, I have pick up alot great information with these will it start videos as I was one of those who just check the oil and put a battery in and hit the start hopping for the best. Now I will go about it differently.
A great find and in truly abandined condition. My worst motor was 2002, Land Rover Discovery Td5 in Silver. Why, people loved to crash into it, it had electrical issues, build quality issues and just seemed possessed by a devil it was so bad, the thing tried to kill me or get me killed!
I have to say all the stuff you say cracks me up. The pictures go perfect with all the things you said and did lol. That fired up pretty quick I wasn’t expecting that. I thought it was gonna be a fight. It’s like the put it in the hedge row yesterday. The worst truck o owned was a 1979 for f250. The reason why is the head blew of the driver side. Supposedly professionally rebuilt. Great vid lord muck.
Merc ml270d , 1 overheated the gearbox oil when it did run and turned it to froth , 2, constant common rail sensor problems , which put it into limp mode in the most inconvenient of places ( ie middle of roundabouts usually when towing )
Wow bloody amazing, she started on the button. well done Mucka. Does it drive though? bet you'll need a gallon or 3 of fospro to free off those levers & linkages
Really enjoy your videos, slaging off the ballbags had me in fits. By the way I was a digger operator for 47 years and plant fitter. Keep it up mucker.
Loving the Will it start vids. Worse car I had was a td4 freelander. Not because it was a freelander but because I bought the worst one out there, no prop and blocks of wood holding all the windows up
After finishing work and watching your vid cheers me up no end, great stuff👍 It's nothing to do with the question but could you see if you could find an old Leyland tractor to mess with, bit of a soft spot for them😉😉
Great vid...just shows how good the underlying engineering is...really like your meticulous way of working thru a machine checking things over as you do.... as for car my father had a 1.6l Cortina on an x reg for 17 years n it pulled our trailer to market no problem was a hell of a car ...eventually time won out n it was past patching AGAIN to get it thru another mot so we changed to a 1.8 for Sierra..... wasnt a patch on the Cortina and was far too high geared to pull with and didnt last half the time of the cortina...👍
I've stopped lurking and subscribed. Enjoying your videos, especially the 'will it start?' ones. I can't say I've had any cars I hated. I've only had 5 in 33 years, and the first was a mk1 Ford Fiesta. It never had any mechanical issues but the body was a total rot box, at just 8 years old! It's been Landrovers ever since :)
Great video again. Very surprised that old girl started, but as the saying goes nothing runs like a deere. And the older one are the best. Worst car I owned was a renault 5 with manual choke. Damn thing wouldn't run unless you held the choke wide open.
2014 new model transit t350.4000 km 2 injectors gone,10000 km turbo, various electrical issues,35300 km clutch and fly wheel. Was so new at the time Ford here in Ireland had no parts for it.Constant power loss, wouldnt pull its self out of bed.9 times in first year on tow truck, engine blew at 73000 km.We run all sprinters in fleet now. Great Van's.
This channel definitely does form a community and I have learnt a lot from the start up videos, this is got to be one of my favourite channels not only is the content interesting but this guy is funny as fuck 😂
Another nice video mate, The worst car I drove (it was borrowed) was an old MK1 Morris Marina, It had so much rust I had to put the spare wheel in the hole in the boot to stop stuff falling out and the headlights were wedged in with bits of wood and cardboard. I wont list it's other amazing attributes lol.
Must admit I was looking forward to seeing the JCB 3C in action but when you revealed it to be a JD 2130 in the hedge I wasn’t disappointed. My favourite series of John Deere’s, favourite diggers and the odd appearance of a P-51D Mustang what’s not to like on your channel 😃👍🏻 Keep up the good work
Another interesting video Mucker. Worst vehicle ever owned is a Freelander 1. No end of engine problems and the electrics were very temperamental. Keep up the good work 👍.
Deeres love woodland just ask Wes, it has gone back to its roots. Typing of OLF that isn't one of the tractors he was hoping to have you or George to look at is it, looks a good'un for one of the Krones 😉
my worst motor was an 03 ford focus, dmf flew apart, radio drained the battery, clutch pedal box and slave cylinder failed, all this in 3 months of owning it, it was second or third hand when i got it with 77,000 miles, great video sir , look forward to more, stay safe everyone, cheers
I was amazed as I think you were when it started. I drove a 3130 of similar vintage and I didn't think much of the front wheel assist. Not much use in the field when pulling a 2000 gallon slurry tanker!
Another cracking video, worst vehicle I’ve owned is my current Peugeot boxer 330 van, the thing just dies when it feels like it (doesn’t log a code so the garage say it’s fine) and the breaks are massively undersized for the vehicle.
Those Milwaukee grease guns are great in my opinion even in our Canadian winters. But I'll let you form your own opinion on them. Also o love watching your videos no matter what you are working on
For the sake of chit chat, I just bought a Ford 4000 made in England! All kinds of parts, even the Firestone tires say made in England, Nice tractor! Needs some work of course, but I like it enough to see it through! Thank you England! I got a 40 some odd year old piece of history. Cheers from Canada!
Woah! That runs very nicely. Worst car was an Austin Ambassador. It used as much oil as fuel and had the heaviest steering of just about anything I've ever driven. No power steering on the poverty spec models. Shame though as it was very comfortable and had loads of room inside.
Great video!!! Loving the insert pictures. Thought you would have washed it first and used some ether to get it going LOL!! Seriously when you pulled the exhaust off I thought not much chance, but as soon as you turned her over with the stop out and the smoke came out of the exhaust I knew she'd go!! HFWD not a lot of use unfortunatelly, but better than nothing. Used to work on a farm that had a JD4640, when you were ploughing in the wet and needed 4WD the hydraulics wouldn't lift the plough, turn it over and run the 4WD. Thinking about it anything that needed hydraulics and front wheel drive used to suffer as the pump was not up to doing everything at once. Made a nice mess in a wet field though LOL!!!! Worst vehicle. not mine, was a farm Transit T reg. It had done 200,000 miles and was a pig to start and the syncro had gone in 3rd and 4th gear so had to double de clutch to go up or down a gear. Anyone used to drive it and no one could change gear properly in it. Soon learn't how to when the manager had given a few bollockings out for crunching the gears. Easy does it and in she went LOL!!!!
She looks broken up but I guess she'll be prancing like a deere as soon as you get your hands dirty fixing it up. great vid and keep up the great work. shes a beauty no matter how banged up she is you'll make her run like she use to. She purrs like a cat

Hillman Imp, Aluminium head, if it wasn't blowing head gaskets it was destroying the drive shaft donuts. Dead easy to remove the engine though, unbolt it and push the car away.

Interesting front wheel drive set up. I like the way you take your time to check everything before fire up. Some folk would just stick a battery on it lol. I grinned 😀 when it fired up. Worst Car was a Vauxhall Viva, let's just say it looked good, pile of Sxxt 🤣
Hi mucker I drive one of these they were crap used to have a fit untill you fitted 50p in line filter then they were ok spent hours cleaning fillings out of everywhere really got to love the smell of diesel keep video's coming can't wait to see JCB in action done about on one cheers mucker all the best Dave😁👍
LM, if you come to the US I will put you up for awhile. All I ask is you to help me with my 1959 Massey 85. It has sat for a few years, the rear tires are rotten and one is rusted out.
