THE remixer of all time. The guy's stuff sounds so unique, he's by far my favorite. Sonically - amazing. He was THE guy you wanted remixing your stuff in the 90s.
A thousand thanks for Charlie Clouser, guys! It would be cool if you invited him again and talked about the Saw score. It would be great to hear from Charlie about the creative process because there is very little information on this subject on the Internet.
you guys care, listening to the contest entries more than once. I can't even get family members to listen once to music that took me 5 years to make and represent me learning how to record and write music.
40:06 Fascinating as L! (The whole interview with Charlie!) I never noticed this (crash topic) before.. .and have loved those records for eons. AMAZING shares in this interview!! Many thanks!!!
This is one of the best and most informative episodes yet. The comment about how Led Zeppelin sounded like they were going to fall apart at any moment is just how I have felt about them for years
i agree with the hans zimmer!!!... sound and music mixers and designers really really needed to be added to your guest list mr. pensado..please..i think everyone would truly appreciate it.. :D
I've been in EDM for a long time now. Skrillex is a hack compared to Aphex Twin. His public works are a novelty. If you actually decide to have Skrillex on your show, see if you can talk about the music he doesn't publish. There are better EDM musicians out there, with much more talent. (i.e. Stephan Bodzin, James Holden, Flying Lotus, DJ Shadow, Amon Tobin!) Please get some REAL electronic talent on the show :) This is the best PensadoTV I've seen, great guest!
QueensRock yes he left NIN in 2000, because he felt he wasn't adding anything to the band or wasn't being fully utilized for what he could offer, & his paycheck wasn't getting any higher, so he pursued other things which led him to scoring films, something Trent Reznor also does now too
This is still relevant and inspiring - Thanks!

I love Charlies Wackie Doodle sounds!!

This guy is the man i really loved your saw soundtracks both my fav from all time God bless your talent
That was great. Even though I didn’t know who he was, Mr. Clouser is a huge reason I’m into recording and sound at all.

Thanks for answering my question about producing for other artists Charlie, great episode guys!
I love you guys! Thanks for another great show!
He did. It was a solo sax. Go to their website and check out all the ITLs, it's in there.
Thanks guys, this is very helpful...the audio sounds great too...I can really hear the difference between settings. Best, Arthur : )

HERB,I AM BECOMING SUCH A FAN...
thank you
YES to both :D
Interview with Charlie begins at 20:30.
good stuff.
Man this is old. Alchemy by Camel Audio has since been absorbed into Logic Pro X.
Opportunity might knock but you better be fully dressed when you answer the door!
No way, we need alan moulder, ken andrews or any mastering engineer next. Awesome Mr. Clouser!
Clouser is a fucking cool guy.
Sir is the parallel chain of the kick and snare are also also sent to the aux?
does anyone know if daves done an ITL on mixing horns (namely sax)? if not, could you try to do that dave?
Who is the Australian film composer he mentions a few times?
Isn't he basically use the aux sends like one would use groups? I feel like this was something I was missing.
Hello Charlie...
already did
Clouser.
So, when is Rich Costey coming on the show!?
any chance you can get Joe Chiccarelli to come?
alan moulder, i would love to see that!!
Paul Rice fired me....twice!!! :) Charlie was great to work with at Sam Ash. He made me a monster with my Commodore64 and Sonus Super Sequencer.
I hate the guys doing the interview, he cut off Charlie when he was talking about NIN and the history.

NIN "Animal?", you mean Closer?
shane parry yeah no shit, Charlie wasn't even in NIN when closer was made, closer came out March 94" & Charlie didn't"t join NIN until 95"
did he leave NiN or why did he?
QueensRock yes he left NIN in 2000, because he felt he wasn't adding anything to the band or wasn't being fully utilized for what he could offer, & his paycheck wasn't getting any higher, so he pursued other things which led him to scoring films, something Trent Reznor also does now too
You guys should get CLINT MANSELL!!! OR HANS ZIMMER!!! :-O
Clint Mansell would be cool, Chris Vrenna, Rick Ruben, Alan Moulder, Flood, or Jacob Hellner?
